- Documentary revisiting John Davidson, who featured in a BBC film about Tourettes syndrome in 1988, and 15-year-old Greg Storey, who the cameras met when they revisited John in 2002. Greg is now the same age as John was when he first took part in a documentary. How does Greg's experience of being a teenager with Tourettes compare to John's, and how does John's life continue to change?

This documentary has totally blown out of the water everything that I've ever learned about Tourettes Syndrome. I have a very dear friend who has it, but his tics are limited to spasmodic body movements - absolutely nothing vocal at all. Best of luck to the both of you.
i am glad to see that the others with tourettes have a laugh when they have a tick. john if i knew you in highschool i would have been your best friend youre amazing man keep at it. things will go good for you.
wow until today I thought what a saw in a southpark episode was a complete exageration... now I see there can be really some cases so...
I find very impressive the way this Greg deals with his own problem, i mean so openminded being able to express himself so properly and in a mature way. you look really bright!

Both John and Greg are absolutely inspiring. Amazing people. And it's great to feel that, with some of their tics, we're laughing WITH them rather than AT them.

I could be mates quite easily with John, he seems like a really nice guy. I remember when the original program was on in the 80s, I was at school then and being a kid I found it horribly hilarious but at the same time felt so much sorrow for him. Being a kid having to deal with that must be so difficult

I honestly find tourettes really fascinating, I'd love to meet someone with tourettes, I think, because I'm quite a crazy person, and I guess I almost have a thing where I act like I have tourettes, like sometimes I can't stop myself saying something, or I often get a strange twitch in my leg, I think it would be nice to meet someone with tourettes who would understand that. I have a lot of respect for these people and how well they deal with their tourettes.

the way john replied wasn't like a tourettes reaction, just like he said it because the other one did.
The reason they often swear is because, they constantly tell themselves: dont swear dont swear, and They swear. Like without tourettes you can have thoughts like: what would happend if i jumped now? They just do it instead of us thinking no i wont. It must be SO freaking hard. The ones that swear i think is prolly the ones that would never swear without tourettes. Great guys tho! Really lovely!

That is the nature of Tourette's. They don't necessarily tic all of the time...usually more so when they are stressed or excited. My little boy has mild tourettes, and he can go 2 months without a single visible tic, and then something will set it off and he will tic constantly for 4 weeks straight. He also has good days where he barely tics at all, and then bad days where he tics a lot.

My life would be perfect if I could live with them. All time I would be laughing (but not at their illness). They are amazing people, I would like to have them as a friend
