I really like it to be named "The Special Plate" because it shows that he was taught to be rewarded when he achieved something but that made him think that he deserved Katie just for a good soccer score. I really like that title 🤯
In my head I was thinking "Please god don't let him say nothing buck wild" And then he blows away all my expectations with what he actually said, my heart sank.
My mom also made a special plate, its red with a heart painted in the middle of it. And we still use it haha. The last time I used it was when I bought my first house last week.

The fact that you felt anything about what you did shows that you have conscious remorse and empathy for the person you hurt. It was red, really thick, and around the edge in nice calligraphy it said “You are special today”. I think there were some little designs around the inside too, can’t fully remember. The big difference is that our special plate had something to do with my family being French/Norwegian, but based in Minnesota. Every year they would have a huge family reunion there, I went to one back in 1989 when I was a kid. I saw the same plate at a thrift store one day, don’t know why I didn’t buy it.
