I have another theory. Cos the voilet dress she's wearing is the one she was wearing in the Maria mv, when she's contemplating self-harm. So the dancers in black could also represent be dark thoughts she's trying to push away.

ALSO, the cut and transition to after her intro, her hair is tied up and her outfit is polished. This can also symbolize how she came back as a new and powerful version of herself. Someone on twitter mentioned how her the intro, her nail color was white. But during Maria, they were black.

They've been mentioned by a big name in the music industry here on Twitter. They get American brand attention on IG. They may not be blackpink big but they get the right attention for more potential over here.

i discovered Hwasa a couple of days ago, and by far this is my best discovery.
I love her facial expressions during her performance like she seriously is a queen on stage and off(of course). I loved the power of the intro had, the dance moves were so cool!! And..well her vocals are truly beautiful to listen to just like how she’s beautiful to look at as well! She’s the definition of beauty.
