This was such a touching and emotional performance for them both. The connection they have is so beautiful to watch. Seeing Vanessa break down made me emotional too. It meant so much to both of them.

Hearing him say “I know she loved me” with equal parts confidence and uncertainty is heartbreaking. He’s come to terms with it, but I sense that for a long time he felt guilty for her leaving. So horrible, no kid should ever go through it, but no person should ever have to take their life. It sucks all around.
This is enough for Joey & Vanessa to go straight to the final.
I want him to win!

RIP to Joey’s mum and Vanessa’s dad
Although this dance was said to be for Joey’s mum you could see how much it meant to Vanessa.
The emotion showed from both of them through the dance was so raw and real and could not be faked.
On top of this joey improved so much with his own hard work, Vanessa excellent training and beautiful choreography.
You know that it meant a lot to both of them, especially the fact they couldn’t or were trying to hold back tears.
It is even more beautiful the support they showed each other knowing this song had such a deep meaning to both of them
Well said… Joey is for sure the most improved skater and that’s what DOI is all about. Yes Nail is great but he was great from day 1 whereas Joey has had that journey of always improving. Reminds me of Perri vs Joel!

I disagreed with the judges last night. Siva was way better than Joey. I’m pretty sure Nile will win on Sunday though. I think from 2024 a judges change is needed. Based on the skating I would have saved Siva last night.
I’m VERY surprise the Viv got more votes than Joey. Always thought it would be him and Nile in the final. That was a big shock.
Siva was good but Joey was more natural.
Think siva should been there instead of viv
@@rachaelduff3396 Agree. He didn't fall over. But it's a popularity contest not a skating contest. Otherwise they wouldn't let people vote before anyone has skated!
I believe Joey and Vanessa survived that final skate-off of the series.
