- Thought I'd go have a look at an area that I hadn't been to in years. Reason being is that apparently there were more interesting things to check out than I had originally thought. I was familiar with the first cave, having been there before. Inside this cave a giant sandstone slab covered in ancient petroglyphs greets you as you enter, absolutely fascinating.
I learned there were two other small caves (or alcoves) in the area, one of which had pictographs (paintings) in it. I'm always excited to see pictographs, the images could be thousands of years old. Indeed more fragile than a carving so it's important to treat pictographs with extreme respect.

Visitation to sites such as this should be done with the utmost respect. The artwork is not simply graffiti, it is a window into the past and it is culturally significant. Please take great care when visiting and observing these places.

When I first went there ,there was poetry on that flat.
Fabulous views ..and a happy dog ..well done video .
From Australia
Thank you very much, appreciate you watching!!
Amazing petroglyphs on that giant slab especially on the left side. It appears to me it depicts a giant bird, probably a Condor, over the mountains. On the right side the the spiral and lines looks like a map of a depiction of a settlement and trails to other smaller settlements. Lots of other fascinating symbols. Truly inspiring!
UA-cam algorithm landed me on the perfect channel! Keep up the good work

I think the Artist was taking a break at the 2nd Cave... probably his finger was tired. Thanx for sharing. Happy Trails

Great video. Love the passion.
Also subbed and don't underestimate your doggy. He seemed to know what he was doing.
I loved this and now going to check out your other videos. This just came up in my suggested and was a very good match. one more sub for you! I tend to have good taste in UA-cam channels apparently because I have watched several go from under 100 subs to millions so you very well might be one of them because I like this.
Awesome, greatly appreciate you watching!
No need to apologize for your dog. Mine goes everywhere with me!
I enjoyed your video. Thank you 😊.

South West facing shelters are often for afternoon heat. Better prepared for cold nights.
I still have not seen a Atlatl yet but thank you a lot
At 5:14 I see one set of deer tracks with dew claws =: looks like those, looks like It or maybe sheep but i don't know if they have due claws..........One thing I hardly see are deer or antlers, but videos showing sheep can't wait till I get a chance to see them on my own.
There is one more out there you have not seen.
I figured there might be...
Didn't you see the Ankh in the first cave
Must have missed that one.
