Roach, even though as is plain for any fight aficionado to see, did not have a good enough defence although he was a good counter-puncher, became a much sought after trainer that was and is in the top five trainers of all time and probably in some eyes the best ever boxing trainer. What I’m attempting to get at is, we can all learn from our own mistakes and teach what we learn to others so that they can perfect their own style.
Good fight my ass!!! What the hell was Roach doing? I guess he thought it was some kind of wrestling match. I was hoping he got knocked out!! Grabbing and holding, coming in head first. He looked like a BUM fighter, how he got to fight for any kind of championship is a mystery to me.
What a gem. Thanks, Rich.
Thanks rich. Appreciate you preserving and publishing these fights.
Thank you, Rich! Great stuff as always!
I really liked Roach. Always an exciting fighter. He has become a great trainer. Biggest issue was Roach had poor defense and took a lot of shots.
117 -111? That scorecard was criminal. Another great video Rich. Now I'm going to be late for work!😮😊
Thanks, Rich! Another interesting fight.
There’s always that one judge

Talk about fights that age ya
Tommy never stopped. Is his name pronounced CORdova or CorDOva?
Roach ain't built for a fighter. Neck to long. Also holding too much when not even hurt. Doesn't help you. Just a time wasting.
Freddie Roach has since trained 40 World Champions.
The best of all...Manny Pacquiao.
