@Talsong Kingslayer. You’re missing the point: you’re talking about a cultural heritage. I’m commenting upon people mentioning ”viking blood and viking ancestry” in their veins... (?) Vikings were, what, 5% of the population, it’s a tiny chance one has direct ancestry. If you’ve done research on your family lineage and discovered that your ancestors were indeed of the chosen Viking warrior profession- then yes. Everyone who is Norse knows this, we don’t walk around over here assuming for some reason we have direct lineage to Vikings, only foreigners abroad on the internet do, I’ve recently discovered.

@Litz I'm a viking reenactor myself and i know how expensive it can get. But over 1k? I think you must be talking about premade armor and weapons as well then. 100% linnen and 100% wool isn't that expensive. Especially when you make everything by yourself. Yes, it's true that reenactment is expensive, and yes it's also true that the modern industry takes away everything from sewists and designers. But most people who are actually looking for a hand- sewn authentic viking dress are willing to spend the coin.

@Emma Madison That's a sad way to view life
She *is* a Viking. She is Norse.
"You know.... animals die" I absolutely love how she said that. LOL

Dying and being tortured to death are two different things, the fur Industry is torture for the animals and thats fact too.

This style seems so authentic and not so over done and obnoxious. I’m getting Witcher 3 vibes hardcore.

I like how she’s so in tune with herself and her heritage. She’s doing an amazing job and is very authentic.
She’s incredibly stunning. Those clothes, accessories and hair suit her a lot.
I think this is the most normal obsession of the "Hooked on the Look" episodes. I absolutely love her style. She's so unique and gorgeous!
"I wouldn't say that I have any insecurities about my look." said one of the most gorgeous women on earth.
I am ugly. But i had six years Other stijl of clothes and i dit not have any insecurities about the look. And also not about me. Everyone looked at me but indit not care. But now i am a mother and no time and money to keep wearing it. So i am incecure again. And that is okay. I have a different task now in life. I Am happy for her that she feels good with her lifestyle. I hope she can wear it as long as she wants. Because not everyone have a live to get everything they want. Most people get what they need. The only history fashion nova has is child labor

Not mad about it. It actually fits them. Also the feeling of living like a viking gives you that earthy vibe it's like you appreciate the nature more. ❤

Also the main reason we invaded places like the British Isles was because we saw a farming potential, it's during this time period the English language got some if it's Norse influence(example: the word "husband").

@The Final Rumbling just saying she could make money in the fashion business 🙄are you that slow to not get what I'm saying typical😂 she makes some great clothes just saying duh🤦
Halloween? That's disrespectful. Those outfits are not costumes.
Actually, since it's handsewn, 100% linnen and probably 100% wool as well a lot of people would buy it for reenactment. I make these dresses by myself as well! Viking re-enactment is for instance really big in Germany! Even though, she really is dressed like a very VERY wealthy viking haha! But if you'd like to check out some more, google Das Grosse Heer or just plain ol' viking re-enactment. Oh, and, a lot of these dresses are being sold on Etsy ^^
@Litz These dresses are really wanted if they're properly made. For instance, look up @thorids_gewandschneiderei
She is STUNNING, wish I had her look & style.
