Dan talking to Trixie and finally figuring out his guilt is one of my favorite scenes in the whole show, it’s just so good man..
I'm really impressed by the actor playing LeMec, transitioning from his brutal persona to Dan's persona so convincingly. We see one more side of him in the last episode, as well.
Re the beach scene: Non-alcoholic champagne is a thing. Also, angels (and presumably, half-angel fetuses) are not as vulnerable to intoxicants as humans.
Totally agree. He's got Dan's mannerism and voice down to a T, very impressive.
That scene with Dan and Trixie is so good. So happy that Dan finally figured out what everybody else knew, he came so far from Detective Douche.
NO I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THE NEXT EPISODE IS THE LAST ONE😭I love the scene where Lucifer and Rory just having so much fun, so wholesome
man this episode hits me hard in the feels. I'm glad you seem to be enjoying this last season as much as I did.
His Gift to Ella 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm So Sad But Also So Excited For You To Finally See The Final Episode Of Lucifer.
This Ending Is EASILY One Of The GREATEST Endings I've Ever Seen In All Of Television.
I Hope You Have Many Good Happy Cries & Love It As Much As I Do.
Cheers To The Final Hurah!
Honestly this episode made me cry soo much:
Lucifer's goodbyes,
The beach scene,
Dan and Trixie.
P.S this episode was directed by Kevin Alejandro.
oh Ellie you are going to sob your eyes out. The onion ninjas are out in force with this and the next episode
I had to watch this particular episode 4 times because I needed to be certain that I heard the following right, "our brother Letsmakeadeal.". Loved all the Lucifer, Rory bonding. The beach scene was really great too. By the way, I toast New Years with sparkling white grape juice, which is likely what Chloe was drinking. Every part of it was so well done, you were justified in breaking down.
You forgot your tissues 😂 I can’t wait to see the last one but I’ll miss watching with you. Thanks for reacting to my favorite show ❤
These last few episodes are so freakin' depressing. I don't understand how people willingly re-watch them.
Can't wait for the next episode! Been a while so I'm getting the joy of rewatching as well as watching someone else who also loves the show
So looking forward to see you react to the finale episode 😍
It is possible that Chloe was having non-alcoholic Champaign 🙂
I’m not ready for these reactions to end! 💔
For me the main moments was with Maze. They way she knew what whas happening
Dan & Trixie is the best scene of season 6, without it the last season wouldn't be worth watching.
I can’t understand that people enjoy these episodes more than the first 2/3 seasons tbh.
You don't have to understand it, you just need to accept it. Everybody has different tastes, different strokes for different folks and all that. It doesn't mean they are wrong or that you are wrong it just means they are different.
Because Time travel and future children are AWESOME plot points!
Be it in Lucifer or Fringe, people who can't grasp beyond linear time hate the last seasons while those of us who have brains adore them.
Chloe can drink while pregnant because she knows Aurora grows up normally without any problems. Well, normally for an angel . . .
I agree with the other commentor - the actor who played LeMec did a brilliant job acting as Dan trapped in his body.
Only one more!
Must be a gift from God...
Half celestial child can surely take some champagne in the womb! I assume they’re less breakable
Well, Chloe was born to a barren mother so I'm sure that required some alteration to the uterus' capacity that was genetic to not require a constant influx of divine intervention to prevent miscarriage.
@@ChibiHoshiDragon "Chloe was born to a barren mother" - citation needed ... All we know is that they had trouble conceiving.
@@lukasr5867
Her having trouble conceiving is what makes her barren AND supports my conclusion.
Biblically, the term barren meant any problems conceiving; not just menopause, gonadal or uterine problems or full blown sterility. The Bible is Patriarchal so even if the fault is sperm count or motility, the wife was still called "barren"/the bible doesn't acknowledge male impotence or male sterility. The term barren isn't limited to the term "sterile" as we see it today.
(Given that Amenadiel was sent to the mother and not the father, we can rule out sperm count or motility.)
Also the term, "problems conceiving" from a doctor, as opposed to infertile, sterile, or unable to conceive naturally, means the woman doesn't need donor eggs and/or surrogates. It generally means her ovaries are intact but need a little stimulating, it means the fertilization isn't happening in-vivo, or implantation isn't happening, etc.
Unlike being infertile, sterile, or unable to conceive naturally, causes of problems conceiving can also cause problems carrying to term. (Fibroids are reoccurring, hormonal imbalance needs to be constantly maintained, etc.) So whatever was done to Penelope couldn't just be structural, but in her DNA to keep the problem from causing miscarriage.
If Penelope was just infertile, then fixing the cause could be structural. But since she had trouble conceiving, this would indicate that whatever Amendaiel did, likely it would also have to maintain the pregnancy and prevent miscarriage, and had to be in her DNA.
@@ChibiHoshiDragon Sorry, but that's nonsense:
"Biblically, the term barren ..." - We are not in the bible, though, so let's use common modern vocabulary, to have a common base for understanding, ok?
"Given that Amenadiel was sent to the mother and not the father, we can rule out sperm count or motility" - Given Amenadiel is an angel and was sent to perform a divine miracle, we can rule out any sort of medical-based reasoning, as we have no idea how such a miracle would or could work.
"the term, "problems conceiving" from a doctor" - We don't hear that term from a doctor. We hear it from non-medically-trained people played by non-medically-trained actors following the script of non-medically-trained writers. So we'll have to take it in it's commonplace meaning as it's understood among commonplace people, which can be anything.
"means the woman doesn't need donor eggs and/or surrogates" - this seems to be in contradiction to your following assumption that she'd have to have a genetic issue causing miscarriages ("but in her DNA to keep the problem from causing miscarriage") and even your initial description of her being "barren"; maybe I misunderstand what you mean by "surrogates", but if you mean "surrogate mother" (i.e. another womb in which to grow the embryo), that would mean that both her eggs and her womb would be intact in your interpretation and the only potential problems could be in the egg meeting the sperm or the sperm being infertile. Both of which wouldn't need constant supervision / "influx of divine intervention", even if the miracle worked that way.
You even shortly mention that there simply may be need for "a little stimulating" but seem to completely disregard that option later-on. Maybe Amenadiel just had to give her egg a little jumpstart (i.e. maybe she didn't ovulate normally). That would absolutely fit to the statement that shortly after his "visit", Chloe was conceived. Based on how bad education on this topic seems to be in some parts of the US, I could even imagine that his "blessing" was informing them in some way about her (in-)fertile days in the month (they don't necessarily seem THAT uneducated, but who knows, maybe they always tried in the wrong phase of her cycle ...).
All in all, you seem to interpret FAR too much meaning with FAR too much conviction into a couple of words of an offhand statement.
Fantastic penultimate Lucifer reaction!!!
A controversial request... Please consider reacting to TheSarahConnersChronicles sometime. I think you'd really like it EllieRose!
Hello there and wow this episode!
Feel better, and THEN make the last Post as long and AWESOME as you can, Ellie. And thanx.
8:16 "she's pregnant, she's not supposed to be drinking". That's so cute.
She's a half-angel that got pregnant by an angel (cherub)/demon (the Devil). I think the baby would be fine
Chloe is not a half-angel, though. I think the best explanation(s) would be a) it's still very early in the pregnancy (she probably wouldn't know yet if she hadn't been looking out for it) and it's a single occasion (not like she's drinking regularly throughout the pregnancy), or b) it's non-alcoholic (she does seem a bit tipsy, but that could just be happyness).
The show finale reaction is coming any second now right? 🙂
Right? 😥
