As a Ballymena man myself living in Scotland, I'm now inspired to take a run over home again. Next time you fancy a wee run out to Scotland, I'm more than happy to show you the hidden gems, Great Vlog
Steven's vids are obviously invaluable photographic aides, but two more things- 1) his wicked accent narration primes our ear for our first ever trip to Northern Ireland in April, and 2) they give us ideas on exactly where to go.
The pianos were both quite stunning as well. The joy in your voice certainly reflected some most excellent captures, it sure is nice when things go so well. Thanks for sharing your talent! Good explanation and reasoning about the histogram too. Cheers!
Just simply an amazing place to be. One could stay there for a long while and just take in the views and enjoy being alive. Another place added to my bucket list of places to visit.
I thought I knew a few closely kept secrets in Ulster but this one has me gripped. I have to visit, not that anything I will capture will come close to these shots. Your grin throughout was infectious. Keep it up. Always a pleasure to share your posts.
We've been there before Steven but the light wasn't great on our last visit. You did so well. Just found your VBlog recently and am enjoying it, well done for putting yourself out here. Keep it up :)
Excellent video, probably one of your best yet so thank you for posting it Steven. I don't think I've seen you so animated in the previous episodes but I can see why, the location is stunning! You got some wonderful images but I would love to see you back there when the skies are full of storm clouds with waves to match! Take this as a challenge mate!😀 As always, stay safe on your travels.🍀
Thanks Andy, glad you liked the Vlog, and challenge accepted! I had hoped for much more cloud at sunset but it wasn't to be on this occasion. Hopefully next time!
Looks like a fantastic location Steven - you created some lovely images there. It has been on my bucket-list for a while....must start planning for a Donegal trip :-)
Steven Hanna thanks. I used to use the front facing camera on my iPhone to document my shoots and considered a GoPro. Your footage here looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Derek Winsor I haven't come across any to be honest. The only time I would possibly get one would be with the Big Stopper, sometimes it can cool the image down.
Nice spot and nice video and most important the result was great, lately youtube is getting invaded by so many cheap talk and bad quality videos and results that some of them make me ask if these people don't have eyes on their head to see that there is nothing special about their posts. Not your case Steven.
Thanks for the very kind comments, really appreciate it! It's sometimes hard to get all the elements to 'work together', but thankfully in this video they did. :)
My wife had family in County Clare Ireland and was looking for a nice photo of the Cliffs of Moher. She was there in 2003, but did not have a digital camera at the time and most likely would not have gotten a good photo :). I am an avid photographer, but have no plans of traveling to Ireland any time soon. Do you by any chance have photos of the Cliffs of Moher for sale and could you give me the particulars of what your price would be, shipping, etc.
Always like your work, very well put together, but have to disagree with your comment about the histogram does not lie. If you shoot jpeg you are correct, I am asuming you shoot RAW. The histogram is based on the jpeg that the camera makes for viewing, you will find that it is very different from the histogram of the RAW file, you get more lattitude with highlights and shadows, many think the image they see on camera, plus the histogram is a RAW file.
Beautiful scenery and great shots.
Beautiful scenery and as always great video and spectacular images.
Great video again! Thanks for posting.
Steven, these shots were amazing. The two last ones are my favorite. Absolutely stunning. Great work.

Excellent vid,beautiful scenery. Great images.

That first image is absolutely beautiful - so well-composed and presented!
The third shot was very nice as well.
The pianos were both quite stunning as well. The joy in your voice certainly reflected some most excellent captures, it sure is nice when things go so well. Thanks for sharing your talent! Good explanation and reasoning about the histogram too. Cheers!

Well that's an awesome compliment that you have seen my efforts. Thanks Steven
I really enjoyed the first panorama. What was the aspect ratio? 1x3?
amazing location, and wonderful video.
Thanks Tony.
awesome work!
Great shots Steven from a beautiful place. Well captured too, was this shot with your iPhone?
James Bell - Lake District Landscape Photography Thanks James, yes it was and also a Go Pro Hero 4.
Steven Hanna thanks. I used to use the front facing camera on my iPhone to document my shoots and considered a GoPro. Your footage here looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Steve, lovely location and compositions. With the 3 different types of filters on together do you have colour casts to deal with in post processing?
Derek Winsor I haven't come across any to be honest. The only time I would possibly get one would be with the Big Stopper, sometimes it can cool the image down.
What focal length were the last panos please. enjoyed watching you go dine to the beach and the waves going arind the rocks ;-)
Nice one, tell me how to stitch moving seas in a pano?
Curious - do you use an ND filter on the drone? Nice work with the pano.

Bob Rutan hey Bob. Unfortunately I don't have any images of Moher but you can check out my portfolio at www.stevenhannalandscapes.co.uk
Thanks Steven....... Appreciate your responding.....
Do you ever use a Nodal slide when doing panorama shots?
Fotog Mike Yes the RRS Elements Package has one as part of it. Super helpful!
Wonderful job. New subscriber. Nigel sent me.
