Everyone mistaking Dogmeat for a German Shepard but it's a Belgian Malinois. They're slimmer and less fluffy.
Everything online says he’s a German Shepherd and I think he is a German Shepherd as well.
@@Bonbonbon739 In Fallout 4 Dogmeat is a German Shepard but in the tv show it's not.
You can look up any image of German Shepards, Belgian Malinois, and CX404 and see the difference.
And..... the literal dog actor is listed as a Belgian Malinois

Looks like a Belgian Malinois. As a rescue volunteer I hope you are wrong about the sales. They're great dogs but require lots of training and daily exercise and stimulation so are hard to handle for average owner.

I fell in love with the Belgian Malinois in John Wick 3, such beautiful dogs and seeing them well trained is sexy as hell lol
Never good for any breed to get popular. Remember when Chihuahuas got popular? They’re the most common dog in shelters now and roving gangs of tiny dogs terrorize the streets of Maryvale Village.
It's not the first time Michael Emerson has appeared in a Jonathan Nolan show alongside a Belgian Malinois: he was in Person of Interest as well, as there's a Belgian Malinois (named Bear) in that too, which is adopted by the heroes a few episodes in.

@26:18: Keep in mind he only got a grind-on leg, he didn't get anything against blood loss or shock. Guy was walking on an open wound while slowly bleeding to death and he knew it.
The screwy part is, even if he'd bandaged and sealed up his firearms injury, the new limb would have torn all that off and screwed his leg up anyway. Must have been a Pulowski-brand new limb.
'Ducking' started in Canada. It's Jeep owners recognizing other Jeep owners. If you see a Jeep out in a parking lot, ducks are usually left on the door handles or the side mirrors if another Jeep owner has been around.
It's really sweet, my kid's and I like to keep an eye out for Jeeps that have been ducked
It's a cool thing "as a jeep owner" but it's become a bit ridiculous when you average maybe 2-5 ducks left on your jeep per year but you see people with 1 year old jeep JLs with 50 across their dash board. Kinda dumb.
Jeep owners are insufferable, even more so than Subaru owners.

I think they retconned fusion cores: the ones that were properly manufactured went to the West Coast, both for military use and for civilian, so in the event of Chinese continental invasion, they'd be easier to find. The lower quality ones (Duracell and Energizer do have those and before their batteries are branded they test them, and sell the lower-quality ones to CVS and other distributors) were sold everywhere else, with the essentially disposable ones sent to the northeast.
You can't find them in the LA area because the Brotherhood is very good at what they do there (capture and sequester technology to keep it away from the wasters).
Fun fact I learned when my grandpa made me watch old westerns with him…barbers were also dentists back in those days. They didn’t really have any complicated dental procedures back then so it probably wasn’t hard lol

Most of the extras in this were hardcore fallout fans. The dude at 12:00 seemed to be emulating the "loser", the slouched NPCs you see in Fallout 1 and 2.
I never played Fallout but from my understanding each vault was very different. Some were the absolute hell. So perhaps living outside might be far better than certain vaults.

(I should stop commenting as I go, 'cause this is stupid!) The way The Ghoul looked around before attacking those people reminded me of VATS; he looked all around that town slowly, then hit his targets precisely.
Accessing vehicles would be awesome in Fallout 5. I'd also love to be able to build anywhere I choose, not just specific settlement spots. And I *still* want to be able to play a Raider, LOL!
Yeah, this series definitely embraces the Bloody Mess perk....
if you know anything about Bethesda game studios you know that their game engine can't handle vehicles. their engine can't load-in assets if you're moving too fast, and their physics is tied to frame rate. it's a mess, and it's ancient, they're been using it since the 90s. also, considering how long it takes them to actually make games, the predicted release date after they finish The Elder Scrolls 6, is 2032...
@@myballspaul4889 Well, that's why it's called wishing, LOL! I didn't say it was going to happen or was possible. He said he would love vehicles in the game, and I agreed. But I still love playing Fallout 4 in the meantime. Heck, I still have 1 and 2 for when I'm in the mood for some old school Fallout. But yeah, you're probably right about the release of Fallout 5, sadly.
Fallout 2 introduced a car for fast travel, so it's not like the series has never had them.

The dog is a Belgian Malinois. They have been used in a lot of movies, and TV shows lately. The joke is “Malinois in English means ‘don’t get this dog.’” Unfortunately, they are very hard to maintain and most people can’t handle/afford them. They need a lot of training and a lot of space. They are fiercely loyal, neurotic, hyper, and dangerous if untrained. Most people don’t have the time or money. I found the one we have because someone abandoned it. We thought it was a German Shepherd. Nope. Way harder to deal with. I wish we would’ve found a home for her. 😂 All good though.

Fallout 2 already had you able to interact with vehicles. You could get your own car.
As far as vehicles, Fallout 2 had the Highwayman, there was that one massive mod that everyone disavowed because the coder was a pedo or something? Implemented tanks and humvees. But the most egregious thing is that Fallout 4 lets you build robots, that have tank treads, legs and wheels, AND YOU CANT RIDE THEM!? WTF

The ghoul doesnt use a pipe pistol, he uses a revolver shotgun customized into a pistol format
On Fallout Shelter a companion can be equipped to anyone so that’s why Dogmeat was changing characters

Apparently if you are a jeep owner and you like another jeep owner's jeep then you can place a little ducky on it to signify that you like their vehicle

Jeep owners will put rubber ducks on the outside of other jeeps that they like or think looks nice/cool. The owners then just put the duck on their dashboard.
Specifically Jeep Wranglers. It’s called Ducking, it’s a community thing so if one Wrangler owners sees another, they’ll trade their ducks or bless one with no ducks with one.

I dunno about other places, but here in VA there's a Facebook group where they put a duck on your jeep and you take pics and join the group. I have a co-worker with over a dozen ducks on her dashboard.

I definitely would want to be raised in vault... Why? Becasue on outside you have pretty much 100% chance to have your live fucked up and in valut it's like 50/50
