I will be honest. When I think about voting, I often think about doing research on each candidate's opinions on certain problems first. This is because I am very cautious and mindful about things such as fighting racism, standing up for people's rights and responsibilities, protecting the environment, fighting the sixth mass extinction crisis, using cleaner natural renewable energy resources, strengthening laws on dealing with war as well as gun violence and other crimes, and even giving people the education in which they deserve to understand these problems. If the candidate's answers match my thoughts or are relating to positive ideas, then I can vote for them. If not, I can try the next candidate to see what they think. Since we the people are or were voting for people like mayors, sheriffs, clerks of court, chairmen, commonwealth attorneys, and supervisors for school boards and soil and water boards as well as senates and houses of delegates, I sure hope the right candidates with the right thoughts on those mentioned topics get elected and do good jobs on making our country and the world better places.
