I was born with Cerebral Palsy, brain damage, chronic pain, bi-lateral leg and foot deformities, autism, low vision issues and more 60+ years ago. From birth till adulthood I went to the best specialists in the nation at the time to be diagnosed and taught how to live my disabilities. Doctors said my deficits were irreversible meaning my constellation of disabilities will not get better no matter how many doctors I saw yesterday, see today or find tomorrow. My disabilities get worse as I age. When I could work I did so for 21 years. Now I'm on disability again! Why would they waste time investigating me because I don't visit doctors? Doctors do NOTHING but offer me pain meds, I refuse because I don't want to become a dope addict!
This is a very good point. Typically, a CDI investigates folks under the age of 50 and with diagnosis that are difficult to physically observe. (ie., some mental health diagnosis, etc.).

I wanted to say thank you for being a fair judge. We need more of people like him. I really thank you both for all the information there are alot of people that need help with SSD and SSI and also SSA. THANKS AGAIN! For the information!
I was long disabled before I painfully had to admit it to myself, once I could do that,I started writing down all my pain and what triggers them, how long, what are my limitations, etc I had to relearn everything about myself as a disabled person and once I was confident and ready to go to war disabled I hire a lawyer When I first apply then sent me a book full of nothing but questions, I cried for days, and 30 days later I still couldnt answer all the questions I was too unstable and I do understand why so many Americans choose to die with there disability than fight back disabled Once youre sure youre disabled and you can accept it,fight every last one of them with a good lawyer,
Thank you for your comment I also had a really hard time coming to terms with the fact that I really was disabled. Just the word alone, I didn't want to admit it until come I was so bad I had no choice no one really comments on how hard it is just to come to terms with the fact of being disabled. It just makes life so much harder. And then you have to live in fear of it ever being taken away, even when you shouldn't have to feel that way. Good luck to you
@@biancasaldanah7761Exactly, a lot of us don’t want to admit we’re disabled. I often dress to hide mine because I have a very visible physical disability. The reason I do that is because I get stared down and that makes me uncomfortable. Sometimes that causes me to get judged because people can’t see it. I also have cognitive issues and agoraphobia/depression/anxiety, so it’s hard for me to get out of the house and when I do I dress up. So, lol, that sometimes causes me to be scrutinized. What I hate is that I can tell that I’m being judged but no one actually approaches me about it and gives me a chance to explain.
My dad was investigated and the person followed him after a work injury retired him on ss. This person used amplified hearing devices to overhear conversations within my parents home. Stated they witnessed him carry 8 plastic water jugs from the house to the car....didnt mention the fact they were empty! They made numerous misleading claims on their report. He is and was disabled. He will never regain use and has chronic pain the rest of his life
I'm o SSI. I am thankful for that. But I'd have a few issues and not sure how much longer the legs are going to hang on. I have been diagnosed with cancer. In 3 different places. Should try for disability again???
I am aware a person who is permanently disabled. They could sit for a hour and a half, stand up to hour. The individual had things like grocery shopping to do. Twin days in bed after that. Cooking dinner with a broken foot. A person has to eat. So a person has to suck it up maybe take an extra dose of medication and knowing full well that they would need a week to recover
Thank you for all the info. I was really worried about it because of all the stories that ssd is sending letters to people that they over paid and want their money back. I was worried that they would spy on me and rescind my benefits and ask for everything back even though I haven't gotten my first check yet. I have talked to my neighbors because they have helped me quite a bit. I told them if anyone ever came and asked them questions I told them just tell the truth, don't make it seem worse than it is. Thank you again and God bless you for all you do.
I got my SSDI years ago (can’t remember how long) pretty fast and with no resistance. I was in for combat stuff though, and the VA had rated me already. I think the VA stuff helped, because SS expedited my claim through the wounded warrior section or whatever. So if you’re a combat vet, definitely take your VA rating stuff, DD214, any combat awards citations, etc… They treated me real good from what I can remember at the office. I don’t really care if I get investigated, because I keep up at the VA Hospital and I am Permanent and Total through them. I get my treatment because even though the VA says I’ll never get better, I have to believe that it could happen someday.
I was born with Mild A-Typical Cerebral palsy and was on SSI from my Early 20's until I got married in 2006, they kicked me off because of my husband's income . I've tried to work when I can but could never keep a job for more than a year do to my medical issue's. I also have no bladder along with a stoma and a urostomy bag and have to see my doctor every three month's along with getting lab's every three months to check my kidney function, because of stage 3a renal insufficiency. Then there's the joint issue's with my back and neck. I have my good and bad days. They don't see when I can't get out of bed except to open the door to the back door to let so my service dog can get out to go to the bathroom. Not to mention I'm on a 10lb weight restricted for lifting. On top of that I have cardiac issues that require a surgery every 5 to 7 year's to get a new battery. Plus require O2 when sleeping.
This was so interesting. It's a wonder to me why these investigative reports are allowed to be so biased, as you pointed out. Why are the investigators not required to be neutral in their observations? The judge said this isn't a case where anyone is "against" you, it's just supposed to be an inquisition. Well that's obviously not true
Hello, Thank you for sharing this information. I’ve seen them in action with a neighbor of mine. Poor lady was seriously sick I never understood why they did it. RIP my dear neighbor .
After doctors operations meds I got they do not know what they are doing and I will not e a pain pill addict and the visits are prohibitive for me. I changed my life, and eat healthy. Everytime you go yo a Dr. Theses days it's $500 and nothing gets solved.
I was harassed by an investigator I drove to my daughters bus stop .3 miles from my house and as I was sitting there a random woman pulled beside me and told me to roll my window down . When I did she said the word “No” three times . No no no . I said “no what ? Super Confused. She had this mean look on her face . Then she said “ oh sorry I thought u were my daughter “! Ummm excuse me . She was sitting beside me for like 20 seconds before I noticed her so I’m sure she knew I wasn’t her daughter. So that’s why I think it was an investigator. I have all my Medical history documented . I am a hard worker have been my Whole life , it’s embarrassing to even ask for help so when you get the courage to see if you qualify these type of Things you will Never forget and be hurt from . I waited until I severely depressed and diagnosed with post before I even thought About disability ❤
If you feel like you're being followed, make a couple three turns, if the vehicle is still there, call the police right away, stalking is a felony in all 50 states
I think CDI investigations are a violation of privacy but I see why they could be done with the amount of Fraud going on.. I just find it weird to have to be followed after your medical exams that DDS or SSA tell u to go to for your case.. Personally, Id rather go to and from my medical examinations via Uber..
I was alerted to this video as a person who is on disability and has DID. I really resent that a judge pre-decides that someone who has a legitimate disorder that is in the DSM might be faking it if they are vague. (?!) DID is caused by severe and repeated trauma in early childhood. No, it’s not actually like what you see in movies, but for many folks it can be disabling, extremely so. It is for me. Especially if you have multiple ego states that are not aware of each other and so you have lost time during your days or weeks (again, my situation). Then answers to questions can be legitimately vague because it can be hard or impossible to remember. Those of us who have this disorder are already having to live with the stigma of this diagnosis (just confirmed in this video)…we don’t need this kind of bias on top of it. Also, regarding a blind person not needing a handicap placard. They often have someone who drives them places. If they are walking from a vehicle to a door with a cane, shouldn’t their driver or caregiver get to park in a place closest to the door so they can accompany them in? You’re gonna make the blind guy shuffle a long way with his cane just because you think he doesn’t need a permit for some reason? I hope all judges aren’t as pre-biased as this guy.
You are aware of many folks that have a disability, are living below the poverty level, and when Doctors are supposed to be watching out for them are fleecing them with co pays, and sending them 34:30 for tests not to help the patient but to generate more $$$ for the Hospital. The fact stated to me by the CEO of a Hospital that their job is NOT TO MAKE YOU WELL, but to make investors more money.
Hey, Thanks for the content! I do somewhat understand talking to neighbors, but like what was mentioned you never know someone’s motivations. Also not all neighbors pay attention & are close. I think if you asked my neighbors about me & just said my name & pointed at my house there’s a good chance they describe my sister or mom.
This is scary. I am truly disabled and working on a case. I love to gatden. If I am out one day working on my garden, they see me and report it? Well they don't report the pain or the amount of days it can take to recover from any activity! Heck it hurts to just go get groceries!!
At the last hearing, before she was to lose the timeframe to be eligible, we showed up with a kid who stayed.in my control/care. But then she goes off 7 yrs later with another guy. Distroying my family. Party comes first.
No one in their right mind would hire the retired judge as a lawyer considering that he basically said that if a person can have a normal conversation they must not have a mental health disability....
Thank you for your comment. I think you're referencing his statement at around 14:00 minutes in the video. Dan Hyatt (former SSA Judge) is referencing the CDI investigator believing that if the claimant with a mental impairment carying on a normal conversation that "they're probably not going to conclude that the person has a serious mental impairment..." Former Judge Hyatt is refering to the CDI investigator believing that if the person with a mental health impairment can have a "normal" conversation must not have a mental impairment. We strongly believe that people with mentalh health impairments can present "normal" in conversation and still suffer from a mental health disability. It's really important to note that a person with medical records that support disability should not worry about a CDI investigation.
Sad to say people conflate mental illness with stupidity. Hollywood has much to answer for. Most people's lives aren't very dramatic. A person can have a IQ of 200 and be depressed. Or epilepsy. Many disabilities are invisible. Heat disease, diabetes. Etc etc
Well, sometimes people who don't like you might say those things to the OIG just to cause problems. Now Just because the OIG sent investigators to follow you around it does not necessarily mean they will find something that a judge could use to remove your benefits! Also are there times when this happened and the investigators found nothing and they told the person who made the report to stop wasting their time? I would hope that they take down the name, address and phone number of each person making a report even if the claimant never sees it. Then if that person continues to make those false reports the SSA making the troublemaker cover the cost of the investigations against that claimant. I only seems just to me. If they think they won't pay they *WILL* think again since the SSA could get the wages of that troublemaker garnished or collect the money some other way. Or make it a felony to continually file false reports to the OIG. I can already imagine the evil Karens saying "not fair". No, that couldn't be more fair. The SSA has enough money problems without being sent on a wild goose chase just because someone doesn't like someone. I can be evil and bitter too but never like that!
Is a lapse in psychiatrist visits an issue? I've been requesting a new psych for 6 months. My last one was verbally abusive. My case managers are documenting I'm refusing to see the only one they have in office. I'm stressed now that I look very bad. I'm going to contact their director to fix this as its untrue. I requested a new one long ago.
If you were Disabled d/t mental health, it's a pretty big deal. With that documentation, you're automatically seen as non compliant, unfortunately. If it triggers a CDR, be sure to write the reason your lapse in Psych visits. Good luck 👍
I gave 6 years of my life to my government, was abused for years by narcissists, discarded and kidnapped, stalked by my abusers, and they literally took over the abuse. I begged my government for help and this is what they did for me. My life has been a nightmare for so long. I beg God on my knees for peace all the time. Its so horrible.
How can I get them to stop harassing me? Im constantly being followed and I will be disabled for the rest of my life. Can someone please help me? Im so tired of being followed. There are people always sitting on my street watching my house. It's very creepy and don't know what to do.
I'm sorry that happened. That is frustrating. It's understandly frustrating when the Judge isn't fully prepared after you've been waiting for so long for your day in court.
@@evansdisability thanks for replying to my comment! I do have a question for you; what would your advice be for me when talking about this; I am diagnosed with congestive heart failure. In the last year, the heart failure has improved according to the tests but my symptoms have not improved as the test results have (my cardiologist says this is simply because my body has been through so much trauma). I’m worried they’ll ignore or dispute the continued symptoms because the tests show improvement.
If we are approached by an investigator and we know they are, are we required to talk to them? I DO have several mental illnesses resulting in being disabled, one of those being severe social anxiety so I always refuse to talk to anyone I don’t know. I actually close my door if someone I don’t know is at my door…even if they are still talking.
They sure do! My lazy landlord got SSDI for a bad back. He was doing all sorts of physical labor. They got him in camera. He weaseled out by saying ut was his sin who looks like him.

Every case is different and without fully knowing the details of your case I do not want to give a legal opinion. That being said, make sure to get all your medical records into your file. Also, if you can get your treating doctors opinion on your ability to work that would be very helpful as well. You can visit our website and we have a free sample Physical RFC Questionnaire you can download/print and take to your doctor to fill out if you cannot find a specific questionnaire for amutation. evansdisability.com/services/medical-questionnaires-for-your-provider/ I hope this helps.
I belive there's fraud but i do know they need to go after those because it hurts the ones who are really disabled and they should force them to pay back every penny thanks for sharing
I do think people report people who are on disability if they see them seemingly enjoying life or doing things. Just because people are trying in life the best they can doesn’t mean they’re not disabled. That’s like expecting someone who is literally dying of a terminal illness to just stay home and lay down until they’re dead.
One day I visit my granddaughter school and the principal said to me,you dont look disabled after 7 years, thats what she said to me,I almost cuss this damn woman out but when I look at her,I realized she was setting me up so I just pretend as if I didnt here her Then a week later the said school, call me and asked me if I need help with food,I said yes and I had tears in my eyes And the school send 4 big box of can food and a bunch of stuff we dont eat,I asked them to give me giftcards to buy food at the grocery store because I have a weight limitation Did you know when the teacher came to the house and I go outside, she said to me,I have back problems and I cant pick up anything heavy so who this teacher expect to pick the boxes up,Me she want to pick them up so I said to this wicked teacher, lady you know I have been disabled many years now,you put those boxes in the back of your car after you clean out your pantry of what you didnt want And you came to my house to tell me you couldnt pick the boxes up,she turn white like a ghost
So the CDI investigator can chat up the person under investigation under false pretenses, like his made up story of someone snooping around the neighborhood, and that’s allowed?

This is a great question. Unfortunately, the answer your looking for is not so black and white or win/loss. Winning an SSA claim required solid medical evidence. Generally, if someone is using an electric bike or electric scooter - the questions that might raise is how much does that scooter/bike weigh? Do you need to lift the scooter for any reason? If you're riding an e-bike how long are you able to sit and ride it before you need to stop and rest? How long are you able to stand on the scooter before you need to stop and rest? These are the types of questions SSA might ask you if they find out your using an e-scooter or e-bike. Remember that you want to be consistent in your testimony. If you tell SSA you can only lift 5 pounds but then later say you can lift up your e-bike which weights 100lbs... SSA might raise an eyebrow.
Couldn’t get the paperwork the guy was supposed to find her if a storm hit and everything is under the water then what to do but that individual never receive any money at all in the first place from Social Security after been eligible for it. The individual never got it no money so it’s not fraud. First, when you don’t have good health insurance to get pain medicine all you don’t have a good Doctor Who will listen to you that don’t mean you’re addicted to drugs. You only want the pain to go away so you can work and make your money.
Hello, I would not say that it is common for SSA to hire disability lawyers to become ALJ's. It does happen where a Disability Attorney will become an ALJ. However, we see ALJ's from a diverse legal background. Thank you for the question.

First of all, you was been bullied on the job by the front office, individual manager and being pushed and push to try to hold onto your job that causes you to become weak in the knees and your feet in your legs in your brains bad enough you are already in pain suffering before the injury occurred Verbally abuse by the nurses management team because of the way you built the way you look the way you smell and the way you walk
Well, if you have to ask if Social Security is going to spy on you then you probably lied on your application because that tells me you’re concerned about being spied on but that’s just the fact sorry if it hurts anybody
Nah there's just lots of misinformation that goes around, plus a lot of folks who have no clue about how the system works. There's legit disabled folks who are scared to walk to their mailbox bc some internet clown has told them they're probably being watched, and a stroll to the mailbox could somehow "prove" they are not disabled (now, if they're claiming they're a quadriplegic this might be a valid concern lol). Add to this that a lot of people on disability have mental illness that includes severe paranoia, so yeah.

She told me how she was going to a nearby University health care acute care clinic to report symptoms to get them into her medical chart so it would be documented prior to her making the application. Yes Renee has methodically and meticulously planned out this process to increase her chances of winning the jackpot ! she was a nurse, but quit working because she refused to take a Covid Vaccine, now she hit the jackpot and is going full circle to cash in on SSA benefits since she claims she caught Covid, and is now a Long Haul Covid Victim. She also steals cats from people, like Maine Coon or other fancy cat breeds.

I wanted to say thank you for being a fair judge. We need more of people like him. I really thank you both for all the information there are alot of people that need help with SSD and SSI and also SSA. THANKS AGAIN! For the information!
Thank you for the comment. We hope the informatoin is helping people out there.
I was long disabled before I painfully had to admit it to myself, once I could do that,I started writing down all my pain and what triggers them, how long, what are my limitations, etc I had to relearn everything about myself as a disabled person and once I was confident and ready to go to war disabled I hire a lawyer
When I first apply then sent me a book full of nothing but questions, I cried for days, and 30 days later I still couldnt answer all the questions
I was too unstable and I do understand why so many Americans choose to die with there disability than fight back disabled
Once youre sure youre disabled and you can accept it,fight every last one of them with a good lawyer,
Thank you for your comment I also had a really hard time coming to terms with the fact that I really was disabled.
Thank you! I'm only at his first sentences, "If you have a genuine disability, you have nothing to worry about," and now I can have one less anxiety.
You should only have less anxiety if your disability is 100% stable all the time. Not everyone's is
I hope I get a nice fair judge like this man. 😊
My judge was awesome. 😊❤Judge Alexis.
I got Blessed, I had a real nice lady judge and my attorney and her were friends 😊 so I think that may have helped me!!!😊😊
Update: I had my hearing over the phone. I had a nice woman judge. I won my case!! 🎉 I thank this channel for the things I learned.
He will never regain use and has chronic pain the rest of his life
I'm sorry to hear this. I hope SSA did not take him off benefits.
Our pleasure! We always hope our podcasts are helpful.
This judge seems really fair.

I think CDI investigations are a violation of privacy but I see why they could be done with the amount of Fraud going on.. I just find it weird to have to be followed after your medical exams that DDS or SSA tell u to go to for your case.. Personally, Id rather go to and from my medical examinations via Uber..
I was awarded full disability for TMJ.
@@evansdisability Medical evidence wins claims, like the Veteran who is rated 100% PTSD by the VA.
I had a former SS judge and it was smooth as can be. I really am disabled which he realized even more than myself.
That's not what he said. You are talking out of context. Listen to the video again. Lol
I can be evil and bitter too but never like that!
this goes back to , don't tell people your business. I should not know that you are on disability.
Amen!
Good luck 👍
Thank you.

@@evansdisability thanks for replying to my comment! I do have a question for you; what would your advice be for me when talking about this;
I am diagnosed with congestive heart failure. In the last year, the heart failure has improved according to the tests but my symptoms have not improved as the test results have (my cardiologist says this is simply because my body has been through so much trauma). I’m worried they’ll ignore or dispute the continued symptoms because the tests show improvement.
Good luck with that. Why lawyers do help a lot.

I belive there's fraud but i do know they need to go after those because it hurts the ones who are really disabled and they should force them to pay back every penny thanks for sharing
What about pains that differ everyday somedays are worst and somedays are better so how do they write their reports to prove if he’s faking or not
I do think people report people who are on disability if they see them seemingly enjoying life or doing things. Just because people are trying in life the best they can doesn’t mean they’re not disabled. That’s like expecting someone who is literally dying of a terminal illness to just stay home and lay down until they’re dead.
One day I visit my granddaughter school and the principal said to me,you dont look disabled after 7 years, thats what she said to me,I almost cuss this damn woman out but when I look at her,I realized she was setting me up so I just pretend as if I didnt here her
Then a week later the said school, call me and asked me if I need help with food,I said yes and I had tears in my eyes
And the school send 4 big box of can food and a bunch of stuff we dont eat,I asked them to give me giftcards to buy food at the grocery store because I have a weight limitation
Did you know when the teacher came to the house and I go outside, she said to me,I have back problems and I cant pick up anything heavy so who this teacher expect to pick the boxes up,Me she want to pick them up so I said to this wicked teacher, lady you know I have been disabled many years now,you put those boxes in the back of your car after you clean out your pantry of what you didnt want
And you came to my house to tell me you couldnt pick the boxes up,she turn white like a ghost
So they tried to use the school to gather evidence against you? Smh
So the CDI investigator can chat up the person under investigation under false pretenses, like his made up story of someone snooping around the neighborhood, and that’s allowed?
Unfortunately, yes.
I just want a peaceful life. No matter what I do or where I go people are constantly trying to hurt me.
If they try to spy on me they'll have to come to the hospital. I'm usually on the 5th or 7th floors.

No - you cannot get into trouble watching these videos.
"Once in a while they will follow someone." So they will literally stalk you like a criminal!! They are repulsive.
How will or can SSA know if you are still receiving medical treatment?
Great question. SSA will send you a form and require you to fill it out listing all the places you have received medical treatment from. If you refuse to fill that form out they can deny you benefits or take you off of your current benefits for failure to cooperate.
@@evansdisability I have a great topic for your UA-cam channel. This is happening to a former colleague. She is 65 and when she turns 66 her SSDI will turn into the regular SS. What if she is investigated at 65 and is taken off SSDI; can't she apply and get her regular SS at 66?

Buy a GPS jammer for your car..
And then turn around the next day, walking with the crushes she went to go and get her car a tuna at Jiffy Lube wind up on Jiffy Lube floor but the messed up part about it when it happened no one was in the building, but that individual laying on the floor cover in soda right in front of a camera with no help to get up reopen up that wound that was still open in the first place, made it worsetripped on a rug in front of Jiffy Lube door that never was there what you call that because I’m lost for words
WHERE IS PART 2????
What if you were on crushes couldn’t walk with them in the first place and you are a fall risk and you walk across the parking lot to your car because you owe some serious painkillers that don’t mean a person is not disable are faking anything when they have cameras And you see the injure on the individual who did the walk-in across the parking lot to me, it called pushing yourself to get across that parking lot without falling without crushes that you know you cannot use to walk with at all that don’t mean that person don’t have a disability issue
I have back problems I have rob in my back I file for Social Security disability insurance would I loss my case if I ride e bike electric bike for I have back and knees problems for me to walk the electric bike is alot cheaper that a electric scooter if they shy on me see me electric bike would I loss my claim
SSA would pay for your Electric Scooter plus upgrades.
They like to pick on the weak and homeless.....
If you cheat you should go to jail. Sounds like you don’t agree….
We believe that if someone commits a crime they should face the criminal justice system.
I hope they catch these fraud people who don't need disability.
Hate crime. Cause driving while faking being blind.
Is it common SSA hires disability lawyers for them to be ALJs?
Hello, I would not say that it is common for SSA to hire disability lawyers to become ALJ's. It does happen where a Disability Attorney will become an ALJ. However, we see ALJ's from a diverse legal background. Thank you for the question.
Understandable, but that individual could have died the night. The accident occurred when that individual fell outside the nursing home in their parking lot. She had a witness out there who saved her life. It wouldn’t of been her knees. It would’ve been her head would’ve been bust open to the fat dead on the ground Because that visual felt so hard so she didn’t feel it right in there until she started walking. she knows she had to get home that next day she couldn’t even walk from that day on she lost all words. It was also in abusive relationship.
Of course don't you know people have lost their check for running a weed eater in their yard or for Colton their roof and stuff like that they have lost their check and cannot get it back and yes they do watch you if you read the small print it tells you they will watch you
They use the school system if you have children in school and question them all the time about there parents disability
Who informed the school? Thats a HIPPA violation ✅
Can you get SSA disability if you have never worked
There is a program for people who have not worked or paid into Social Security. This program is called Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It's a needs based program so you have to be disabled and in financial need. Check out this link to our website as it talks about the 5 different types of disability programs within SSA. evansdisability.com/resources/five-types-of-disability/

No surprise! That's why we have ss#, so they can track each of us.
There will be no due process in the future, only the will of CEASAR....and the coliseum for debtor prison and the lions💀💀💀🪓
Case that individual had a disability in another state due to a stone was moved to a different state been working ever since in a different state making her disability worse than what it was. I’m trying to get it to make sense and still suffering to this day but worse Help me make sense of it
And then turn around the next day, walking with the crushes she went to go and get her car a tuna at Jiffy Lube wind up on Jiffy Lube floor but the messed up part about it when it happened no one was in the building, but that individual laying on the floor cover in soda right in front of a camera with no help to get up reopen up that wound that was still open in the first place, made it worsetripped on a rug in front of Jiffy Lube door that never was there what you call that because I’m lost for words
