Welcome aboard, we appreciate your support and glad you like the videos, just a average couple who love to travel on a budget, well Matt does haha. Thanks again
Thankyou for your kind words, As to tours, We live and work full time in oz so no chance on that. We just passing our knowledge on so people can experience great shopping at non inflated tourist prices. We try to make it easy for people to do it on your own as sadly most of the time , we are back in Oz working (that sux but pays the bills haha) Thanks and hope it helps.
Me and my partner love your videos! We're going to Bali in April and can't wait to check out some of the places you've been 😁 thanks for the insight guys🫶
Glad you like them! Hopefully they will give you a good start in Bali, If we can be of help anytime , Just ask we can try and answer anything if your not too sure. Have a great trip. Thanks for feedback.
Shops like this are good if you want to buy a few things, but if you are looking to furnish a house, I highly recommend visiting the shops along Jln Tegallalang-they are on either side of the road on the way to Ubud. They offer both retail and wholesale, and prices are much more competitive than anywhere else I have seen in Bali. You will find a lot of the high end shops in Bali source their products from the sellers along this approximately 10km road. They will also happily provide shipping should you require it.
Yes a great tip we have shopped along there, A good driver helps to know where to go and which shops suit you best. Very much more the seasoned shopper. We did Dewanngga due to suit tourists / Air con / good range but not full on tourist prices. We compared to kuta , this shop was half the price compared to the tourists traps in Kuta/Legian. Thanks for feedback, We have thought about doing a video on Jln.Tegallalang , so food for thought. Thanks for the tip. Thanks for feedback.
Anything raw or untreated. Anything from beach they don't like, any wicker, make sure you tap them on something hard to see any bugs come out. If you buy from a store you will be safe, We bought shell chimes and we were asked did u buy from store, if we did they just waved us through. So in summary anything bought out of shop pretty safe. Just declare and you will be fine. Hope it helps.
I wouldent recommend it, We always check what we are buy and always buy extra luggage coming home, Freight from Bali is expensive and have many variables that can go wrong to ruin your experience in buying stuff. Not saying it carn't be done but i would go there and buy what your happy with and bring it home as we did. Thanks for feedback.
We bought some homewares and along the tourist strip same items were nearly double the price we paid, We love good value and if you have a place we need to check out That's even cheaper, Let us know. One of our friends told us must go to Billies homewares (we went as Bec loves shoppping, Three times the price ) So this store fitted the brief. Saying that we don't like paying to much, So point us in the right direction. We appreciate your feedback.
Just subscribed, awesome videos, great chemistry and easy to watch, love it 😀🇦🇺

When you guys back in Bali? We would love to catch up 😊
Hi Rick, We head over end of January. If that's suitable, Shoot us a email from our page and we can organize a catch up if it suits you.
What items do you really need to avoid bringing into Australia, is it mainly feathers, shells and bone?
Anything raw or untreated.
Anything from beach they don't like, any wicker, make sure you tap them on something hard to see any bugs come out.
