Thank you for posting these "slow clawhammer demonstrations". I have played guitar all of my life and just began my clawhammer banjo journey 2 weeks ago. Watching you play these banjo standards at a slow tempo is very helpful as I learn the clawhammer technique.

I should get one of those tempo machines because my timing is so bad. What are they actually called?
It's a metronome. The one you're hearing is built into my tuner. I always tell my students to use one for practice.
