I love the idea of making the underwear as pants trend more wearable by layering a sheet skirt over top- no different than a cover up and it adds so much dimension. Def more wearable for everyday.

I think I have to disagree with your analysis as I would say 90s grunge was huge during the time of the supermodels, not after. Bands like Nirvana or Pixies were huge influences during that time. Interesting perspective though.
