The wildflower around your birdbath is purple toadflax, looks like you have an alba form as well, brilliant pollinator plants 😊 You have a beautiful garden, you seem to like the same colour palette as I do.
Thanks for the info! We did not know the name so that is great 😊 to know . It’s the first time we’ve grown this plant . It’s not one you see in garden centres.
@@gardenerscottageblakeney1316 You’re welcome, I’ve seen a few variants coming out in more specialist nurseries, I think Beth Chatto’s does a white one and there’s a peach colour that is very pretty too (google Linaria purpurea and you’ll see them) but personally I think the original wild form is just perfect anyway.
I agree they are wonderful they just appeared a couple of years ago and I’ve been spreading them around the garden they are very easy to grow and drought resistant which is great 😊
Beautiful! It keeps getting better! My delphinium finally bloomed this year. Flower surprises are wonderful. Oh, and I have to tell you, I'm so excited. I have blue flowered catmint, not sure what the name is, and bought nepeta alba seeds. I was successful and have 2 white ones that are growing and blooming nicely. I was able to buy a pink one as well. Thank you for sharing!
That dark red astrantia is beautiful! I will need to try to find some seeds like that. I started some astrantia from seed this year but they're a pale pink/lavender and I think won't show up in my border, now that I see it this spring. Love your garden!
🌺🦋Your garden is so beautifull! I have foxglove seeds, but i haven't planted them because I heard they're poisonous? Have you ever had an issue with them?
Yes every bit of the foxglove is poisonous . We avoid seeding them in the vegetable garden and in the area that we keep the chickens for this reason and when we have puppies we are very careful . We also don’t put any foxgloves in the garden of holiday let in Blakeney for this reason . Sadly we lost a guinea pig many years ago when one of our children inadvertently put its run over a foxglove and it ate it so you do need to be very careful with them .
Those foxgloves get me every single time. J’adore!!!
They are truly wonderful
Gorgeous Cottage garden .

Wonderful! May and June are such a lovely time of year in the garden

Thank you ☺️ the red astrantia is very special . All are other astrantia pale in comparison . It’s very easy to grow and self seeds reliably

Great garden tour! Thanks so much. Can you tell me the exact name of the Iris in the Border at the end of the video. Thanks!
Thank you glad you enjoyed the tour if you are referring to the bronze yellow one we believe it is called Jacques Lemon .
