Now we know why Gukesh is so grounded and I'll tell one thing to you all Dr Rajinikanth was my senior in chengalpattu medical college and a terrific cricket player an all-rounder and our team captain, extremely competitive. So Gukesh's aggressive and never say die attitude comes from his. Kudos to him and Gukesh's mother for bringing up a world champion in Gukesh and name to our country ❤❤❤
I am a father of 4 months old. Dr Rajnikanth shows me, how there is not much drama. Do your job and let God and your Kids hardwork pay off. Thank You Sir.
Lots of love, blessings n congratulations to Gukesh, from Nepal❤U deserve every bit of success❤Hats off to Gukesh parents for raising him as a perfect individual❤
So humble, so practical so much grounded to earth! Really great parents, great father. Good luck to all in the family. Proud to see my young Indian fellow doing great !!!
If Dr parents are financially struggled, what about common parents? India should financially support atleast all grand masters. In india career and passion in sports and games are only for the rich.
Doctor like my father LIM doctor he is an example like my father LIM doctor developed my brother S karunanithi worked in Memorax corporation and Apple computer PHD Southern California University PhD so Gukesh has to face real figter like Fabiano caruana or Nipo
He is far better than nepo equal to him caruvana to some extend . His defence is absolutely amazing same way offense similar to karpov and carlsen .he is just 18 years 8 months so defnitley he will superceed all others more over he is highly matured than his age .
@@pradeepm.p395, I don't know much about the technicalities of chess, but going by Gukesh's demeanour and interactions with the press , he is certainly much ahead of his age . His will power and mental strength at such a young age will take him places. It's most heartening to see him being humble also. Great combo.
Dude, both parents are doctors is insane. idk how they can say about the costs bc doctors make lots of money. I understand there would be lots of money involved, but they shouldn't say a struggle was involved because of the pandemic and bc they are both doctors. i guess its just an indian thing to worry about money...i am indian so i know
@bang5548 you clearly don't know a doctors salary. Even in India doctors are still making high wage. Even then, his father mentioned he postponed surgeries, appointments at the clinic....that means he basically is a surgeon. Not to mention his mother still has the income of a doctor also
@@Humanbeing01 he scheduled his appointments and surgeries around the tournament days and events. He didn't leave his job. Also, his wife didn't leave the clinic either. Both were working even on tournament days
You clearly dont understand travel expenses for 15 days to Europe for 2 people. Additionally everything he need for his chess More then 40lac per year they need to spend for consecutive 2/3 yrs while managing indian household and those expenses with single income.
@Pratibha-td7gm again, not single income. Both parents are working. They only take leave. It was e en said that the father reschedules his appointments and surgeries around the tournament
The science behind Gukesh victory. Indians do well in chess cause India is a 3rd world country and indians are hungry for success. The rest of the world of competing nations are not 3rd world hungry as India. So what happens is you get people from south India who are genetically and mathematically superior in intellect from the north indians and you see this phenomenal rise of south indians in chess mastery especially from the state of Tamil Nadu. You however don't see this among the north indians despite all their efforts . Compared to south , north indians are 2nd ,3rd rated players. And data don't lie. And statistically Tamils dominate the chess scene . The rest of the south are offshoots of the Tamils genetically .South Indians are a distinctly different ethnic race despite the general term Indians. This is quite often forgotten, that south indians and especially the tamils come from an ancient civilization unlike rest of India In conclusion india will continue to do well in chess and predominate in the south but we won't see this in the north. We can expect more Gukesh, Pragg and Erigasi in the coming days !
I have seen this exact comment somewhere else too and I didn't reply that there but I'll reply here. In all this nonsense, you somehow forgot that Gukesh is a "Telugu".He was born Telugu and his whole family is Telugu. Not Tamil. His family went to TN afterwards so they aren't Tamil. Just like Indians settling in Germany will be called German if they leave Indian nationality and get German passport but when talking about " German" people, they won't be considered in that conversation. Also, Erigaisi is Telugu, Humpy and Harika are Telugu so it seems like you should replace Tamil with Telugu.

Parents like them are very rare in india.
A talented kid with careless parent is nothing.
Most of the south Indian fmilies are like this...they prioritize kids.
Parents like that aren’t rare, Kids like that are rare…
True... Not all parents are like them... Many just expect and not support

The guy who is interviewing needs to learn how to ask questions ...
Low quality anchor. Irritating. Irrelevant questions at this moment of joy. Gukesh father should avoid these kind of channels for interview.
