Good news is, when a rain/thunder storm came through we weren't allowed to work until the lightning stopped. We all got to hunker down in the plane and take a break until it was over! Now the heat.... thats a different story.
Talk about milking the clock! Do they even need those transfer vehicles? Can’t the containers just be pushed directly from the towable wagons onto the loader?
@@BrodyxBrown LOL -- Actually no, we don't have any loaders that good looking in MEM. This looks like it was a demo performed at an Airshow somewhere in Germany, I think. Our loaders here in Memphis are 24/7 working machines and we don't upkeep the appearance of them like this, just keep them mechanically sound.
i actually do the same job at the guy on the loader for a different company and i was thinking the same thing... idk whats going on in the video bevause they bring the loader up with the same can # as they bring down.... so essentially they did nothing. when we do that its because we put the wrong can on the plane and have to take it off.
Over a year ago I contacted teamster union requesting what is a K-Loader etc. To my surprise I received a ignorant reply. Teamsters reply was "it is a privacy issue.' In other words mind my own F***** business. Wow I found this on you tube. Very private. Freedom of the press.
I fell asleep and when I woke up they were just still fucking around with those same two containers. FedEx Must use the same philosophy as state highway workers. 5 guys to do the standing around watching and one guy who’s trying to pretend to know what he is doing.
no one is even helping. The should fire most of them. I remember working for them and some stupid clown was hiding trying to milk hours. I was like WTF.... I ended up quitting because I want to make enough to live off of and not go broke with a broken body. No advancement that driver there has been working for at least 8 years before they gave him that 15 an hour if that. Miinus 1/3 for taxes is 10 bucks part time no insurance..
Imagine doing this during a rain storm, or blizzard, or when it's 110 F or -10F.
Yep Been there.
As have I... well the cold parts I live in Texas and my first week was when all the ice came lolol
That was me, in the New Englan winter.

I hope those cans were empty because there's no way they made it on time! That was painful to watch 😂
there's a reason why they have longer parameters for 777.

Is that union really run by the Teamsters? If yes, then no wonder you got such a mean response.

Can’t do much when you have motors pushing the cans in position. It’s a automated
It’s called spotting pleb, like anyone does when loading/unloading shit.
It's not like this at the ramp I work at, we usually finish early
Slow ass operation! where's the urgency getting this bird out on time? I can tell those are rookies and nobody is helping each other.
too slow
