    As someone who follows arm-wrestling, I have to say, that challenger dude at 3:17 was genuinely strong in AW and I think he would have beaten Sollie if there was a ref and fair start (straight wrists and gloves off). Like Sollie is strong AF when it comes to lifting no doubt but AW is a completely different sport. Hopefully Joe does gets a collab with someone like Devon Larrat or Larry wheels and learns the fundamentals. All in all great vid as always joe :D

    Sollie is without question very strong but you could see that he was getting the jump on people by jumping the gun and he also already had his body half turned on the table as his starting position which again is an unfair advantage. Another factor is that you have to go through 2 people before your reach Sollie and so fatigue is also unequal in this dubious contest. Bring in a proper referee and also let people only pull one of the 3 choices for a much fairer contest.

    if someone do arm wrestling he can quickly understand what big guy was doing there, his hands were more close to him which give him extra points to lock them there where as opponent hands were wide open so the elbow connection get 40% weaker.

  • @Armwrestlingphilosopher
    @Armwrestlingphilosopher Рік тому +1

    Regular arm wrestler here, sollie is undeniably strong however he’s starting early, already has a cupped wrist and inside position. For a non arm wrestler who can’t top roll they don’t have a chance, even if they’re stronger.

    • @Armwrestlingphilosopher
      @Armwrestlingphilosopher Рік тому

      @Tom definitely, he had unfair leverage which was sad to see. What’s funny though is a regular arm wrestler would just cheat on an unimaginable scale if they knew the other was an amateur, especially for money. Cheating occurs at the highest level.

    You guys…You need to do this SAFELY. For example that woman at 1:58 was getting way outside her shoulder and not looking at her hand putting her self into an arm break position where people literally break their own arms with their own force. You guys need to make sure people know how to pull safely and say something the moment they get into a bad position to hurt themselves.
