A country's coastguard is tasked w/ maritime search & rescue, law enforcement, safety, environmental protection & security within its territorial waters. However, China's coastguard is acting contrary to these responsibilities. (To think that the WPS🌊 🇵🇭is roughly 1,500 km from the nearest PRC 🇨🇳 coastline). I just hope that, for everyone's sake, no further incidents occur that could escalate tensions in the West Philippine Sea 🇵🇭🌐🕊️🙏
