The thing will spell overload is it very very very heavily limits the utility you have available. From damage spells and utility only spells. Youre relying on so few spells to do everything you need them to and sometimes it isnt quite enough. But it sure is a lot of fun spamming 8 fireballs
With the attributes being so high and the new 2all items. There is no reason you cant just run 10 spell with overload. But also, it allows you to build arcane, ice and reactive shield. And just dps check anyone not holding a shield withmagic missile (which does insane dps with the bonus addi/true dmg rolls.)

Thats a good idea i havent even thought of that. Full caster + will cleric. Mostly been using holy strike with it and pdr build still
