Lindsey, thank you! This will be so much fun. I thank you for getting the prompts to us early. 3 of my 5 Book Clubs have wonderful November Challenges. If I can get a one-row Bingo, I will be happy.
This sounds so fun! I just read the Briar Club and I am looking forward to the discussion! A halfway through the month live check in would be fun to see what everyone is reading or planning to read.
Just came from Florida's channel...I'm sooooo excited !😁 Historical fiction is one of if not my favorite genre's! I can think of alot of bks. I have here to fit every prompt. For sure will be reading Briar Club. Have it and haven't read it yet. Thanks Lindsay, esp. for letting us know ahead of time. Will now hurry up to finish my October reads.
I love historical fiction!! I just went to a library sale yesterday ( my haul video will be posted on Monday) and guess what? So many of the books I found would count for these prompts!! The group read sounds really good too. I am excited to join in again this year.
I agree! I always learn so much and love a good author's note. I've been slacking on picking from my historical fiction books lately so I'm looking forward to finding books for these prompts.
So excited! Don't recall why last year was a flop for me, but this year should be much better. Need to get my hands on the group read. It's too expensive on Amazon, Pango only has one, and the library has a forever and a year wait on it. Maybe Amazon will drop the price soon.
I just read The Briar Club for book club, ❤we had great discussions!! Madam Secretary fits several prompts. Based on an unfamilar historical woman, but also delves into several historical events. I went down so many bunny trails looking up books related to these events more in depth!!
I haven’t been reading a ton of Historicals this year, so excited to jump back in!!
I'm joining historathon because I love historical fiction and I am looking forward to your book review.
