Have been enjoying your channel for sometime just want you both do a great presentation on all the vans in particular the latest vlog on 5 tips re se cond hand vans Excellent content Thankyou keep on delivering great content 😊
Not sure about the en-suite function. Don’t really want to share what my husband does every morning on the loo and he probably doesn’t delight in mine either! Needs a door to loo. 😂 Oh and I’d be a little hesitant buying pre-loved…there been lots of flooding throughout Australia and I’d be a bit worried about buying something with hidden damage. Anyway…good episode.
Super, I didn’t think of that but I’d plan to be lazing around the lounge having coffee when that was going on! It’s pretty easy to spot water damage if you are thorough but there’s always that chance…
You can check ownership of any registered vehicle including vans and boats etc via revs and other agencies. Standard warranty is typically limited to months and not usually structural - most defer to consumer law and if they feel your claim is within what’s reasonable for the age and use they will honour it - so, you’d be very unlucky to buy a lemon if you are paying any sort of proper attention. Some offer extended warranties which you purchase - read that fine print carefully as things covered are limited - typically a questionable use of your money.
@@AndyH-13 When buying second hand no matter how old or young the van is check with the manufacturer, as for example we have a Jayco and are getting warranty issues fixed. We contacted Jayco about the issues and were told that as we were not the initial owners that the warranty did not apply and it only applies to buying new. We informed them that we did buy this brand new from the only Jayco dealer in Perth and after checking Jayco were able to confirm that this was correct. Wether the van was ordered by someone else and not taken or the dealer stuffed up we don’t know. After discovering this I would contact the manufacturer when buying a van to ensure that it has warranty and that it is transferable.
That rust dribble is nothing to worry about. The fish plate can't be welded completely, and the zinc will only get in so far........if water gets in, then so will rust converter.......let that sink in.....clean off and seal with some seam sealer......problem solved...... Over-priced IMHO.....
Good tip thank you - I agree, everything is 10K overpriced at least. Prices are falling by the day - even second zones! I have to look into that I reckon….
@caravansbythecampfire9802 the zones are about 20k over priced.....only the desperate and cashed up will pay 130k for a second hand van......as good as they are....as you know....

Thanks you! We try to have a laugh as well!
Walk away, good decision, I enjoy how you look at everything, and keeping emotion out of the choice is paramount....
Yes always be prepared to walk.
Another excellent video 😊 Have you looked at the Jayco StarCraft BushPack?
I will check it out

I the very first point should be weights
Weight is big factor for sure.
I wonder if this van sold and if so if the buyer saw this ?
Love your banter and content
Yes, sold the next day!
Incredible @@caravansbythecampfire
Do the used caravans come with any warranty if bought from a dealer and can the REVS online checks be done for a caravan, similar to a car?

Have you tried a crusader prince
We have it on our list to hire - there is one in NSW but it’s not available till into next year. Looks ok. Thanks for the heads up.
