Wayne, absolutely uncanny how similar our install technique is. Don't sweat the comment about how to hold the knife. Different strokes for different folks. Right? He'd probably criticize Picasso or Rembrandt for how they held their brushes. ROTFLMAO. Bottom line, whatever is comfortable and produces awesome results...
Yes I agree, we'll all do different things. It's all good with me. That's why I like watching other people get their tint on. Hey thanks for watching, I greatly appreciate it. I'm just trying to add Tint Content to the world!
Thank you for watching. I always do Visor Strips in 05%. For the first time a week ago I actually did one Visor with TWO pieces of 05%. Now that was JET BLACK!!! More content coming soon.
Does the tint work that much better because of the Pre-Tac solution. When I have been doing some windows. It seems I always have some water bubbles showing later that day or day after. I am new but trying to learn. Please and Thank you.
You'll always get some moisture pockets that form as the solution evaporates. Even the next day it is might look wavy. Some people text me the next day all worried. I tell them give it a few days and it will dry out. I don't kill myself trying to squeegie all day, I get it smooth and let it go. It will dry out.
Naa man, I just look for the dot matrix and move right along. I actually like to use my other hand as a steady guide at times if you ever seen me using two hands. Thanks for watching Jeremy!
In the beginning of this video, you placed a piece of film on your peel board, then you placed another layer on top of the original. May I ask the reason for this? Also, do you ever have to remove the door panels for any of your installs? Thank you.
Double Cut and Double Shrink.. Two pieces at one time. Saves time for an install. I do not this with all my installs. Check out my truck video where I showed this more.
@@justinm3087 I think your talking about the piece of tint? I use the straight edge of the roll and lay it on. Usually my customers are happy with that. I don't usually trim to curve my strips.
I got my truck done just like this at 20% but I wanted the front windows to match the back. The back seems darker than the front. Is that just from tinting over privacy glass? What should I have done to make everything uniform?
If you go over the rear Privacy Glass with 20 then the fronts need to be done with 5 to have a match. It's never perfect so don't get to caught up in the shades. You can only try to get things to match. A lot of variables.
@@FadeToBlackLLC gotcha. I’m getting 20 on my back half tomorrow. I had tint to match on the front on my new truck but the front half looks darker than the back on the inside for some reason so I wanted my back half done. Preciate it man 🤝
I love watching these vids but i really wish educational youtubers would first learn how to correctly hold a knife. Passing on bad habits is no bueno. Finger should not be on the top of it at all. Other than that great vid!
Thanks for watching but I have to do what's comfortable for me. We all have our own styles. My wife doesn't like the way my son holds his pencil but he's good with it. Different strokes for different folks. If you notice in my videos I don't tell people what to do, I tell them what works best for me. That's one of the cool things about UA-cam is seeing different styles. If we all were the same what would we look forward to? Have a good rest of your weekend.
@@FadeToBlackLLC if you didn't do how to videos it would be ok but people are looking at you for guidance when they first start and that is going to cost them or someone else!!!
@@FadeToBlackLLC i cut the same way as you but i have been doing it for 11 years so it is ok for people like us. But when i show someone i do not show them that way. I always show the pinch method because it is a lot safer for new people.
Don't forget to check out the FTB Community page. I'm always giving updates with what's going on. Thank you guys for watching.
I like watching tinting videos, it gives me ideas on how to tint, im trying to learn how to tint myself
Take your time. I have good tips for new tinters in my What Size Roll to Buy video.

Prime example of (Theirs more than one way to skin a cat) or in this case. Tint a window. Nicely done.
Yes sir, thanks for watching!
First time I’ve seen someone use the marker technique. I love it. Have you always done it that way or do you switch it up? Great video
I learned that from Ralph Van Pelt. I do my installs the same way every time. I always use the sharpie to traced the area of the glass.
Like we did the Chevy Silverado truck all four windows and rear window question why didn't you remove the rear headrest free easy workability
Why didn't you remove the headrest when finishing the back window
I’ve done so many I don’t even bother at this point.
Awesome video man as always, what percent brow did you do on this truck?

Got one question are you able to see good at night with 20% tint on factory tinted windows
For the most part yes. Most of my customers go with 20 which is like what's on the privacy glass of suvs and trucks .
@@FadeToBlackLLC thank you so much I’m going to get my 2020 Highlander window tinted I’m going to get 20% in the rear and 35% in the front

Rookie here. Why do you blow dry it before you install it?
I am actually heating the film to take shape of the glass. Heat Shrinking!

Those are just cheap white scrub pads I buy from the tint suppliers.
Big bro what’s the name of this instrumental? I came for the video ended up leaving for the beat.
