I do like using the blue felt card for shrinking as it ensures not to stick to the film and cause it to crease also doesn’t scratch the film. Not the best but they do work
@@mikemoerena4337 actually there's more red tape for brick and mortar. You actually have to prove sales numbers and go through more a more rigorous vetting process to have shelf space.
Hi Matt, the card at 6.30 is called a Power Stroke, They're for 8M+ security film, you use the backing sheet to stop scratches. They're Ok as a scraper on soft glass you can't use S/Steel blades on.
@@DetroitTintStudio I know, lol, like a beginner is going to be doing 8M security film work straight away. That stuff is a whole special deal of it's own to work with, they'd have to be rich to get enough film to learn with and then do their house! Was thinking a video on putting 4M security film on a car would be great viewing and because you have to go slow shrinking the rear & front(70%) will show how the film moves during shrinking really well for video. Know what I mean? Not dissing Detroit, but it can stop bullets,or at least dissipate the energy of bullets,so there's probably customers out there for it! ROTFLMAO! But would you want to deal with a person needing bullet resistant tint on their car??? :-)
I like to use a orange crush with a fusion handle, yellow turbo, a teflon hard card for shrinking, ghost glove for shrinking, platinum easy reach, and a lil chiseler.
2 things I have old tint that is stuck on my rear window and I cannot get to it any recommendations to get it off? What is your favorite 20% ceramic on amazon that you have tried?
Question: I'm looking to tint my vehicle which currently has no tint. What tint do you recommend for the for the doors and rear glass. "Sedan" "2014 Mazda 6 Sport" I'm looking for dark like i had on my 2003 Audi A4 Sedan Quattro. I like the dark tint.
For like $28 I got all that shit off your site lol And it’s all I needed. Well assept the blade since I had some at home already. For an extra $5 to $10 just buy it from the pros and have peace of mind not risking shitty Chinese knock off stuff.

Amazon has become plagued with cheap drop shipped garbage, just like eBay.

i use those amazon squeegees never had an issue
They're just tint tools. The window film quality is what matters. I literally use a credit card in place of a hard card to tint
Black magic is the best and not that expensive.
Let’s see you tint a car with those cheap tools, it would be an interesting video
