I have been reading all of the comments of which some are highly critical of Nash guitars 🎸. I have. Been playing for 50 years. I obviously have played and owned many what are now vintage guitars throughout my life. I own a Nash tele and a strat and they are some of the best guitars I have played. I don't care what you call them partscasters or whatever. What is important is how they feel and sound. Mine are very light relic so that debate doesn't apply to me. I work at a guitar store that carries Fender Custom shop guitars and have played dozens and get a great discount but I was never blown away by any of them especially at that price. I went out and got the Nash at full retail and saved about 1K for what I consider a better playing guitar. The Truth is the name on the headstock and even the price is irrelevant. What matters is does the guitar inspire you to play.
I went into a guitar store over the holidays-they were a licensed dealer of Fender, PRS, Suhr, and Nash, but also had some high end Gibsons, Yamahas, etc. I was just doing some research on my next guitar, and played some great models-a Gibson ‘57 reissue Gold Top, a LP Special, a Suhr Telecaster, and a custom shop PRS, just to name a few. Then the sales rep helping me brought over a Nash Jazzmaster. It was a heavy relic finish, which I’m not a fan of, and in a color that I wasn’t crazy about, but I figured I’d try it out anyway. Within 30 seconds I knew it was the nicest guitar I had played all day. The Lollar pickups sounded incredible and the neck was so comfortable and smooth. The weight and balance were perfect. I went home to sleep on it, got up the next morning and immediately drove back to the store and bought it. It’s one of the finest guitars I’ve ever played and maybe the nicest one that I own. I don’t care if it was assembled from parts built by other makers, it just hits the mark, and that’s all that matters.
Thanks. This makes me want one of these even more.
@Zacchus since I posted that comment over 2 years ago I have sold the Nash I had and bought 2 other ones which are amazing as well. I have also discovered K Line guitars and have 4 guitars from them . 3 are s type models called Springfield and one is a DC JR P90 guitar. I couldn't recommend them more highly. The strat types are some of the best I have ever played. I also own a Fender CS strat which is great but I would take the K Line over that one. Happy Hunting 😊
Can't you hear me knocking....one of the coolest riffs ever written
Love the stones songs! RIP Charlie!
I have a Nash t63 with lollars and it’s no question my #1. My second is a 1968 Sg custom.
WTH was that masterpiece at the end? Holy hell Michael, you are so creative!
Can’t You Hear Me Knocking?! Love it!
Lemmo, as always, incredible . As for Nash and Lollar , I recently purchased a Micawber Nash guitar from J &E Guitars . Jesse Gago sent me a perfectly set up guitar that has been awesome to play. With a PAF type bucker in the neck , and vintage type single coil in the bridge , very effective tone control , and a 3 way selector that yields 3 distinct variations . It is a heavy relic which feels so comfortable and is hard to put down. All this goodness with a customized case for $ 2399.00 . I have Fender Custom Shop , Gibson Memphis Custom Shop , and PRS . I would take my Whitfill #16 of 50 Billy Gibbons Tejas T and Nash Micawber over any other T- Type guitars . Their build quality and playability are on par with my other 3 guitars.
Nash makes some amazing looking guitars. You can basically get the exact same guitar as a heavy relic custom shop fender for a quarter of the price. If I wasn’t a brand snob I would probably use them exclusively. Their 72 tele tl is just to die for. That Olympic white with mint pickguard is just too good.
I have a 52 Goldtop and a 55 Junior and have owned several other Juniors. So I became a brand AND vintage snob for a LONG time. I recently bought a Nash tele and it is FREAKING AMAZING! Try one out seriously
Nash makes the best Fender style guitars
Gojira! Michael Lemmo and a Telecaster - what a monster combination!
This is inspiring me to grab my Tele and play in open G tuning.

I have a nash T-52 from 2011 and I absolutely love it still. These are great guitars to buy if you want a good sounding guitar. And you can change the pickups if you’re not a fan of the lollars
A Goosed Up Gorgeous Guitar!!!🤘🏼
The wiring and SD stacked HM's are cool,..but I think I'd rather have the Lollars. But that's just me.
Totally rad! Loved that bit at the end wow.
Normally not a fan of push/pull pots (hum-bucker to single coil) but on that guitar it works!
The Lemmo wizard strikes again. Blessings from Kruger Park. SA.
I love when guitarists strum faster than UA-cam's frame rate.
LOL
I've never been a big fan of Seymour Ds, but those sound fine (in Lemmo's paws). Not tele-like to my ears though.
That sounds incredible. Smart of Norm to order these with Duncans. Lollar pickups sound very hi-fi and glassy but lack character and oomph. Duncans may be a "big brand new" and doesn't have the boutique mystique, but a good Duncan pickup always blows me away.
I agree, they are my go-to aftermarket pickups, I personally think they sound better than fender pickups 😎
Sounds awesome like old school ones 👍
I think I like the old school single coils more. It was definitely ‘more’ but sometimes less is more. Still cool though. Michael, as always plays fantastic. I bet he has sold more guitars on his hard earned talent alone. If we all could just play as adventurous. Lovely tele Tuesday!
The faded butterscotch is the same color as the neck
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻 best episode since a while
I think Julian Lage plays/played similar guitar, great!
Great job great show!
one guitar can do all things.
Lemmo rocks Open G
Dude is so good. I might as well quit.
The pickup swap was a terrible idea... The original lollar pickups sound sooooo much better
THE D & G POLES ARE RAISED TO GO ALONG WITH THE GUITARS RADIUS
IT WOULD BE COOL TO GET THIS COOL
NASH WITHOUT THE RELICING ON IT
THE NASH INSTRUMENTS ARE COOL
AND NOW WITHOUT ANY FURTHER ADO
MICHAEL LEMMO WILL DO DO THIS
IT WAS A GREAT DEMONSTRATION OF YOUR PEDALBOARD (AH THE PICK UPS)
MICHAEL PLAYS SO WELL HE DOES
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 USA
Yeah it'd be better without the relicing
Luv The Rolling Stones!!!
Also, fantastic as always lemmo xx
I’d take lollars over Seymour Duncan anyday
8:30 what’s that song ? fckin loved that riff
It sounds so familiar to me
Up until a point and then I start to think it's just one of Lemmos creations
I have a Telecaster I bought about 10 years ago,I was wondering if you could tell me anything about it as I can't find much at all on the internet about it?
What pedal are you using during the satisfaction riff
You know, the great thing about stacked p/u's is NOTHING! Play them as an HB, they don't sound like a single coil, but split them and they STILL don't sound like a single coil!
Agreed
Yeah that made me lose all respect for this store. Really a stupid move. Lollars are so stellar and on point. Of all possible replacements, Duncan stacked hum buckers??? Really? Awful stuff.
Cool guitar. But I couldn’t find it on the website.
What's the point about NOT playing it clean? That's how most people can distinguish its natural tone
I can't find those Seymour Duncans ☹️
Need a tele player Brent mason type for a good demo. This guy isn’t selling me on it…
So, what amp is that we are hearing this guitar through? Why is not there any info and / or question about that? Did I miss something?
always same fender vintage amps
The song at the end, does anyone know it??
Nash isn't even listed as a brand on the website or your reverb page? what's up with that?
great video
I’ve had 4 bought through the net. I’ve had 3 bad ones!
Dang that thing is pretty!! 😍 Me likely
Can they do one in Antigua? 😁
Switched ti fender cs
Lol I think he kind of forgot what he was doing at the end there. Sounded great though, this guys always improving the sound nowadays, even the same stuff I’ve already heard is polished or improved , love to see it
How much do these parts casters cost?
Open G i guess, i prefer what Joni Mitchell did with it
ruff ruff front?
😎👍🇺🇸🎸a whole lotta bang for da buck!
What's the tuning he's using?
I see you brothers & sisters saying Open G
I bought a Nash copy of David Gilmour's #1 strat...I wasnt impressed...sold it
This guy is a great player. I was really disappointed to just hear banging out a bunch of chords. Really would’ve liked to hear some lead work.
We’ll then, you obviously didn’t watch the
End of the video!

Ooooh
Reminds me of the model Josh Homme plays in that Guitar Moves video! Such a great underrated brand! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Prefer the lolars Duncans should trashy
Sounds great, probably plays great, but that finish though…It doesn’t look like a real blackguard tele.
its not....its a nash
What don’t you guys move to the showroom and do the guitar description lol one of these days you guys will be breaking the fretboard of the guitar by hitting the shelf.
I don't think Lemo likes the camera in his mug thing..
just give me my Fender..thanks all the same,,
This should have been at least a 20 minute mike rips the telle and burns down the house...
Turn that electric racket down, I'm trying to play my acoustic in here...stay off my lawn too!
Opting for stacked humbucking Duncan’s over Lollars is a serious mistake…and I’ve lost all respect for Norman’s.
Hey
Like the guitar but I think it'd be better without the relicing
Thumbs up for the playing, not for the Fender ripoff guitar. I don't know how some people can sleep at night after stealing and making money off of some other company's design. Great playing Lemmo!
O sure because Leo Fender never copied anything right?
It's not a rip off, that's why they have patents ..
@@globalmind43 Or Gibson, Peavy or.. .
Sorry but wholly ignorant comment.
some people will buy anything!
I dont understand Nash nor Suhr.. Why are we paying $3k-$5k for fender copies??? Spend half of the price and get the real thing.. Right?!?!
If nobody bought from these companies they’d be out of business so they must be doing right. Even though these prices are wrong lol
Or build a better spec more accurate copy of what you want. Some things they offer Fender doesn't do like the late 60s style Strats even tho fender Japan does to an extent. But I agree
You do have a point there. I think it's more of a workmanship, finishing and quality of material used. A top of the line Mercedes is not far off than a top of the line Rolls anyway
Nash Tele’s new are $1960 - $2275 typically, not $3000 - $5000. So now what do you think?
You aren't gonna touch a Suhr telecaster for under $3k unless its trashed. A Nash can be had for the $2k ISH range.. But an American fender can be had for 30%+ less. Give me the authentic Fender.. Change my mind.....
Some of the Nash guitars are pretty cool but at the end of the day it’s an overpriced partscaster
Ordered a 72 Custom Tele and was disappointed
Very sad that someone would take a brand new guitar and trash it. Be so glad when this fad is over.
It is all beat to hell.
In all the wrong ways Nash guitars suck
The 'relic' on that neck is wayyyyyy overdone... doesn't look real at all. Nash are normally better than this!
Nice but pass on anything 'aged',
Anything aged? How long have you been stupid? It’s all the aged shit that’s worth anything. I’m 62 so I grew up with the stones, Clapton, Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin and the rest of them. That was talent. What we have today is just pure manure with a few exceptions.
@@MissChrissyM1
Thank you for the response.
I'm 64 and my first concert was LZ for Houses, Kezar.
I was 16 at the time.
Took up guitar and actually made money playing out.
To call me 'stupid' i couldn't give a rats ass..
@@MissChrissyM1 I think they were talking about guitars and looks like you have quite an age complex
Lee Anderton sums up aging guitars very well. “Stop buying them and we will stop selling them”.
Nice playing by Lemmo. Absolutely hate the guitar.
This is so deserving of quality presentation but we get sort of a fast food quality delivery. Camera person, shoot the scene and pipe down. The dude talking about the telecaster is refreshing. Passnit back to the dude? Noooooo.
Not enough clean tones 😕
Absolutely blows my mind that a vintage guitar shop buys Nash guitars that are the worst relics on the market... the necks look painted, looks like the claw end of a hammer was used, the bridge, pickups bunch of other stuff wasn't even touched it looks like and those guitars are a couple thousand dollars... I can make a Squier sound good and play good so that shouldn't be the preface necessarily of a good guitar while this being a relic that is the focus and this guitar in particular to me is terrible as well as the five or six others I've seen in person ! Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Mill any wood because if you did you wouldn't have guitars with bigsby's that have ferrules .. if it's not 90% believable it's not worth it and these guitars are just cosmetic nonsense
Pretty obvious to everybody else because normally these videos everybody's drooling over the instrument and of course Michaels playing but not in this case it's just Michael's playing and a handful of negative Nash comments
Oh god, this guy is not clever and the over excitement from the camera person is a bit (sarcasm) overdone.
