This is it, the big daddy, the alpha, the omega, the beginning of the end of every monsters career. The only reason every monster isnt extinct yet is because capcom is sure to hold this beast back with a thousand locks and chains.
Amidst an unrelenting vicious cycle of sleep, confusion and fainting against that damn owl thing, I STILL jammed to this tune. One of the biggest reasons I’m quickly becoming a complete Monster Hunter addict. Can’t wait for my copy of Generations to arrive.

Surprised to see that a buncha Arknights players are here cause i saw none of em on the MHW Iceborne Proof of a Hero. That was the BGM for the big AK x MH trailer from Texalter livestream, ig this theme is more iconic than that one huh

And the harmony, it is a very dramatic and elegant cliché of tension and resolution (suspeded dominant resolution) frequently used in flamenco and spanish styles, beautifully outlined by the violin melody. In my experience, it evokes feelings of surprise, like being caught off guard (suspended dominant), and a sensation of sudden realization and understanding during the rising tension (dominant), followed by motivation and determination (resolution). Not to mention the fast paced percussion, representing the urgency and danger of the situation. Also, i recommend listening to gerudo valley and kass's theme from smash ultimate. I hope this can help you in some way :)

First time i heard this song in A Shocking Revelation! quest, that's the first time i ever hyped fighting 5 monster in a Arena ALL ON MY OWN, goddamn this Arena theme is maybe the best arena theme in the entire series for me
depends. If its a village or hub quest in the arena then yes, ive carved lots of deviljhos in the 'out of the fry pan' quest. If its a quest you have to take from the arena guy then probably not.
No. But a select few quest will net you some materials that can be used to make good decorations and armor; namely, the Brachydios and Y. Garuga grudge matches can net you Crit-boost gem materials.
You came here from the Arknights collab, I came here from the Dragalia Lost collab. We are not the same... Nonetheless, we're both still jamming to this theme
I like/don't like the arena for 2 reasons 1. with 2 monsters attacking at once it's almost impossible to get out of the way and heal fast enough 2. the gate that you can use is helpful a lot, least it's not like 4 Ultimate where you can barely get a lot of use out of it

Sword and Shield is just a lesser Greatsword.
Sure, with SnS you move faster, but the Greatsword has more damage and a block.
Enjoy the higher attack stat as you miss every other attack. Bigger isn't always better

Nobody really blames you, Arena quests aren’t very important compared to most Village/Hub quests. The weapon tutorials in Village are nice tho

They mixed Proof of a Hero in so many song and in most cases we don't even realise it's in.

The Rise arena theme is the only one I have heard to rival this, and even then this is better.
