I don't often comment but this man has the BEST tech info and small scale mods content!! Always has the new jazz and showing us his ideas! Killer channel I love it man! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the rc hobby!
Dude, seeing your channel at over 10K subs is awesome. I subbed when you were at 600 or so and that was not quite 2 years ago. Huge progress in a pretty short amount of time! Keep being real and putting out the content, the success is well deserved.
Same, I remember being here when he posted his first couple videos. He has came along way very fast! That’s why his channel is 2FMRC, 2 Fast Matt! Congratulations on 10k brotha! Well deserved!
I appreciate every single sub so much! It’s been amazing to watch it grow. I’ll never forget a minute of the ride! Having so much fun and hoping to get better and better but stay true to the reason I started the channel! Really appreciate you 🙏
It's not the same motor in the eBay link anymore. They changed it. I ordered one and it was a 12v motor that barely moves. I did find a different one which is just as fast and smooth but it costs a few bucks more. Still awesome though, thanks for pointing in the right direction and the other great tips for our micros.
Loving your positivity as always. I’m just not sold on these yet. It’s so 1/18 I dunno maybe cause I really can’t go get one right now and of course having infinite options for the scx. As always though you are crushing it. 👍
Wow! Thanks for the tip of to the faster motor. Who knew. Being able to see how it works before being and installing it is the best. I also love the silver body. Entering me into your FMX24 give away if it isn't over would be great too.
Nice! It’s a bit more touchy than the stock motor but overall it seems to be a good motor. I’m probably gonna try it with a Furitek eventually to see if I can smooth it out even more.
Thank you for your updates. It has improved my SCX24 and I look forward to updating my FCX24. I wonder how long till Furitec or MOFO rc add their spin with an outrunner.
I can’t believe how far you’ve already gone with the FCX! Incredible imagination. Mine gets here tomorrow! Did you get the McCue steering links? I did, along with the stretch kit, they shipped today! Didn’t think I’d be so looking forward to this little truck.
They are a major pain. I pried my flat screw driver between the motor and pinion enough to get the pinion started moving and away from the base of the motor enough that I could get my pinion puller on it. It was tough though. I boogered the back side of the teeth a bit but they don’t catch the spur at the very edge on the back side anyway so it was fine. I luckily snatched up a couple of their gear sets that included the pinion before they removed them from the site. Hopefully we will get some new options soon!
I would really like to see how you got that pinion gear off. ⚙️ if you found some of the same size that would be great as well. I have tried heat and everything and cannot get it to budge. It's pretty well mangled at this point.
Thank you very muh for such informative videos and for doing the tests with degrees and all. Do you have the link to the $6 motor? It is not under the "More" section.
I really appreciate that. That motor has now been removed so I removed the link. I’ve had good luck with this one as well. Close to the same performance just a bit more expensive. that motor is awesome! and super cheap! id definitley pick one up if i didnt have to cut the body. or maybe i will end up cutting and making some kind of fuell cell for the back to cover the motor and hole thats needed to run it
I love you can swap in a better 180! I found a 11.1 35,000rpm full bearing 180 while back. It has gobbs of torque too. I can't find it I just did 24mph 3s with a 9145 mini basher. Thinking how sweet it'd be in this! I got two the others in a stock wpl C24-1 and it does 4mph stock esc. Thanks a lot for sharing I was wondering 🙏🏁
Have you had any issues with the plasic CVD axle? One of mine broke off, wonder if there is a metal alternatives. Love your FCX24 content btw! It is my first crawler!
I may print my own that are somewhere between the two. I could move the body back and it would be fine but I may play around with some rear steering at some point and rather keep it clear anyway.
@@kalimahhh yeah I have 6 sets of axles that just arrived today for future builds lol. Only issue is with the portals one will spin opposite if flipped to the rear I believe.

I am really digging the upgrade motor and new body on the FCX24.
