The making of a papalaau pa'iai (Poi board) This video shows a slab of Mango wood to the finish product. Poiboard made durig a 2 day event, a total of 11 hours with hany hands invovled.

Slab started out as 6' 300 pounds of wood, and ended up being about 120pounds of finished product. Board used to preserve the art of Pa'i ai. a Pa'i ai hui will gather and use this community board to make pa'i ai for friends and family of Mauinui.
