Thanks, I agree that we are late. In this case we got quite a bit of value from Njord, but Bragi could have been good too. Looking back at the game, we failed to clean up the vils after killing TCs in so many situations. That made all the difference. Not having the Herdman upgrade from Bragi definitly hurt us.

@@DeitiesofDeath in hindsight, was RC still not viable even if you knew he made (many) cheiros? The berserkers were eaten alive. Sad to see as I love Njord pushes, credits for pulling it as Loki as it is the cajones play❤

@@nianera2076 Yes it would have been better to mix in some RC and Jarls. It's not easy to do as it requires Great Halls and Cav Line ups though. In some games there is just no time to make the switch, when the opponent already has their infantry upgrades, it's easy for them to switch to katapeltes.

@ absolutely so im not sure myself either, so expensive to get to a decent (medium) cav line and still get the heavy inf upgrade before pushing.
but im thinking that if im the 2 tc player, i would love to make wood/gold units and not spend valuable food, so that maybe makes RC a better approach. imo this is also one of the reasons this push is good vs 2 tc greek, as they have to make hoplites and stay forever in classical age. anyways loved the games and that u post losses. ggs
