Nightsongs is an instrumental-pop studio album by Earl Klugh released in 1984.[1][2] The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Performance at the 27th Grammy Awards in 1985. This release has Klugh perform "a collection of funk-free, soft melodic standards with heavy string orchestrations", featuring legendary NEA Jazz Master Jean "Toots" Thielemans on the harmonica and Grammy Award winner Don Sebesky as conductor and arranger.

I owe you one man. I had been looking for this album for over 33 years! My wife and I use to fall asleep to this album when we were in college. We celebrate our 15th Anniversary May 10th. True story, my aunt Susie dated Earl Klugh when she was in her early 20s.
A belated happy anniversary.
Please ask your Aunt what he was like. I am sooo intrigued by him as a musician and as a person, but he seems to be so private.

Thank you so much for uplaoding this gem of an album. There was a point in high school when I used to slip in this album (in cassette form), into my walkman, each night before I fall asleep, and take off on a journey into another dimension. This album has the power to do that. Enchanting is perhaps a suitable word to describe the feel of this masterpiece. Thanks again. Loadza love from Malaysia.
Managed to pick this album up in a second hand store in Christchurch New Zealand yesterday for $4! Mint condition too. A special find.

I love Earl Klugh! Missed this one back then. Was dialed into "Magic In Your eyes" though. Have to admit I prefer the more jazzy side of his work. This is a bit to "orchestrated" for my tastes. Cool you uploaded it though. These arrangements are so movie soundtracks. Def showcase his wonderful style and light touch.
When i saw "14.50 min. 05. The Look Of Love" I got excited. one of my favorite tune EVER. Couldn't wait to hear his ver so I skipped ahead. Was NOT disappointed!
