As a danish person it’s so crazy to have followed you for years, suddenly seeing you in little Denmark experiencing all these things I’ve been around my whole life!: smørrebrød, brunsviger, crabfishing, going for walks right by fields growing grains. I grew up on Fyn, like Kevin, and moved to Copenhagen in 2017 for University. I’m so happy for you guys. Happy for you, Tina, that you got to see Denmark shine, like it does in the sun. Happy that Kevin got to show you his world ❤️
god damn yesterday I got the "korean food prep" video recommended and subscribed because of the unique camera shots in the intro and because you were sitting in the kitchen like a goblin. I dig your really casual but informativ style and now I've watched 13 videos and am invested and also inspired by the thoughts you put into the subtitles. Crazy. I wish you and kevin the best!
As a danish person who has been following you for a long time before Kevin, this is a very unexpected and very awesome plot twist that i had never seen coming. It is great seeing Denmark through the lens of Dooby. Somehow i dont cringe when Kevin speaks english like i do when i hear anyone else speaking english with that very distinct danish accent haha
I love this and love how much happier you seem to be than last year. I really appreciate getting to see both the ups and downs of your life and career journey but seeing you right now, literally glowing, I'm filled with joy for you and ecstatic that we all get to witness that. I don't know you personally beyond the content you post, but it feels like you fed my soul with much needed good energy. Thank you always for producing quality content. Rooting for you and Kevin!
I’m so happy his family has been so lovely 🥰 I hope your relationship with your parents continue to grow as well, families can be hard sometimes but it’s so wonderful when everyone can come together ❤️
I only found your channel maybe a week or so ago. But I've been going through so many older videos and having a blast. You have such an amazing sense of humor and your delivery is just, chef's kiss. Which makes this video even better. The text is the icing on the cake, but the gorgeous Danish country side and everything you showed just put a smile on my face.
Lovely. The whole experience. The people, the animals, the environment, the food, all a delight. I can see why you would want to raise your children there. Choosing happiness and contentment can be hard, but so rewarding. Thank you, Tina, for taking us on your journey. 🌻
I love how this video was quiet and not having alot of audio in the beginning and then then music start playing at the field, it makes me feel peacefull
As a Danish and Korean person I love your content, and have been following you almost since the beginning. I am rooting for you and Kevin, you guys are such a great team. Big fan of you Tina, so wonderful to see how much you've been growing. Continue what you love doing and be exactly who you are. Guurl you're bomb!!
Watching this is soo cozy!! I’m danish and when there’s birthdays everyone gathers around with a cold beer enjoying the food and having a good time. Great you’re enjoying Denmark, Tina!
The little white doggy was cute.. very insightful and entertaining and peaceful.. I didn't realize I was going to enjoy these long form vlog videos - like I do the short cooking ones.. really really great video.. gonna call this the doob-toob
“a part of being a parent is re-living your childhood and passing on your happiest memories to your kids” damn this hits me…I’ve been thinking a lot about having kids lately, which is very surprising because I though I would never. I guess there’s no such thing as “never”
Love these Denmark videos! and using a phone to document the whole trip definitely gave a very raw and vulnerable element to it. Definitely missed the deep and reflective dooby ❤️
I have to say, I agree with almost everyone else, it was wonderful to see you both so relaxed and peaceful and just having fun together, and with his family. It was wonderful! ❤
Being a Dane this makes me so happy, Kevin showed you Denmark in the best way possible food wise. I was waiting for the brunsviger, and just the bakery standard we have. Is something you cannot come to Denmark without trying.
Felt so much emotions while watching this but for good reasons. You and Kevin seemed so happy and relaxed. it's very refreshing to see you both in this kind of environment. Sending love from the USA!!
country life is the best. city folks think they have it better, but man - the tranquility. spoken as someone who grew up in the country and couldn't wait to get to the city - now I can't wait to get home.
I wonder if we'll see Dooby eventually move to Denmark and open a Korean restaurant there with her husband Kevin. Her love of the outdoors, animals, and disliking of people (and likely Korean culture as it relates to what kids experience growing up; ie school, pressure, not standing out, highly competitive, so expensive, no housing, high stress/anxiety, etc) makes me think she won't be a Seoulite for life. Get Mija Seoul running smoothly, maybe open a Danish restaurant with Kevin in Seoul (as the vid says he dreams of doing) and then after a few years why not move out into the Korean country-side and make fine dining Korean food? You can move to Denmark and live a dream-like slow paced European life on a farm with your chef husband while operating one of the likely few Korean restaurants (maybe the first Korean fine dining?) in the country. All farm to table. Then have some kid(s). All while maybe still owning Mija Seoul and coming to S. Korea to see family and keep it running in tip top shape. Sounds idyllic to me. Idk why anyone with that opportunity would choose any differently.
Crazy how I started randomly watching your videos and now feel like our life paths are so similar! I am also an Asian American girl who has been living in CPH with my Danish (now) fiance. I have just learnt the language..it's not easy, but worth it :)
Copenhagen is known for being expensive even for Danes. If one wants to be out in the Danish nature, I’d recommend Skagen (“Grenen” is popular there and very beautiful and tranquil) or Blokhus (it’s by the coast and there are a lot of nice restaurants, cafes and ice cream places. As for tourist attractions there is Fårup Sommerland. It’s an amusement park. Be aware that in the middle of summer the lines can stretch well over an hour. Therefore it’s best to visit late summer or late spring. Then lines may only be five minutes or less). Aarhus is also very nice. It’s the second largest city after Copenhagen and touristy things are cheaper.
@cassiopeia309the Midwest is fine I think... But only because they share a lot of European cultural values as opposed to the hellscapes of California, Chicago, Detroit etc.
You will be an amazing mother, seeing how the calming environment of Denmark brought you peace. You want this for your children, doing I guess the opposite in many ways of how you were raised. ❤ Eeeee I cannot wait! But, loved this vlog, your insight and beautiful Denmark landscape
As a Swede I can confirm that Sweden and Finland aren’t frozen plains lol. Southern Sweden looks a lot like Denmark actually, and northern Sweden is filled with mountains and forests like Norway. It’s very versatile
Tina!! I hope you get to try more Tibetan/Himalayan cuisine :) I hope you enjoyed the momos. If you're ever in Toronto, the Tibetan community is so huge that we have an area called Little Tibet & the food is amazing there. Also if you come to Vancouver BC, during the biggest night market in North America, there's also a momo stall there that is really worth trying. Have a great stay!! < 3
Tibetans wish for peace and compassion amongst and for all. We don’t tell others what to do nor do we look badly upon others beliefs even if it goes against ours. I really appreciate dooby for her love for food & sharing different cultures around the world. :>
I've never been to Denmark 🇩🇰, but would like to visit in the near future! Absolutely beautiful and serene! And the food looks delicious! I don't know where Kevin wants to open his Danish restaurant, but hope he gets the chance to open one! Hope Tina and Kevin got a good rest and mini vacay! 🌻
Oh my goodness all that yummy food 😮 I’m so jealous right now 😂 I wish I could experience different cultures and enjoy different cuisine. It really does look so beautiful and chill there. I’d never leave if I was there 😃
You are always bringing me joy and interest in different cultures and lifestyle. Thank you Dooby Bodhisattva . I feel very blessed to know your channel.
Tina! You're mommy material?!
Tina obviously is mommy material… look at all her sons showing her love on UA-cam
Cool aunt
Duh?!!!

Their compatibility illustrates her marriage materiality. Procreation requires a little more premeditation.

Tina is gonna be that cool wine aunt that kids at family gatherings hang out with
frr
Must say Kevin looks wayyyy more chill while in Denmark, I hope yall got a reset :)
Not only is it his homeland, but it's also not a concrete jungle like Seoul.
South Korea is ok to visit, but it’s not a nice place to live I imagine
maybe cuz hes a white foreigner... over there.
Tbh i rather live in 'concrete jungle than sovlful countryside
@@sosososososo4148 There's plenty of boring countryside in Korea too

Enig! Det er så vildt 🤩
Danish is one of my favourite english accents, I think it sounds very pleasant and nice :) But I know the feeling, I cringe at my own accent as well
Felt like watching a dream unfold. Peaceful, romantic, and over too soon. Sweet of Kevin’s family to be a part of the vlog. Tak.
This is the most relaxed I’ve ever seen you and Kevin in a vlog. You both look so happy. Denmark 🇩🇰 brings out the best in you. ❤❤
It's wild to see how much more comfortable Kevin seems at home. This must have been so nice for him!!

My father once told me that it's the people who claimed they will never do sth that end up doing it even before everyone else. It's true.
For everyone wondering, the name of the song at 1:53 is something new-korean version by sarah kang and anthony lazaro🤗

Lol when Tina turned the camera towards Kevin and he went "Nihao" had me rolling 😂😂
That was so random + his deadpan expression 🤣🤣
from the thumbnail I thought she pulled a Twilight and her kids aged up in 2 weeks like Renesmee
