I really appreciate these guides. I'm currently doing a playthrough that focuses on Royal Arms coupled with Iggy's Regroup skill to mitigate the health loss, while not power leveling like I've done in my previous playthroughs. So far it's forcing me to use Warp Strike hanging and the crouching behind cover thing a lot more than I usually do. It's quite fun.
Ok, here's the last one, enjoy! So, I don't really know what direction to take this channel after this. I've still got two more videos planned (one about phase-counters and another that's a bit different). When the DLC comes, I'll probably also make moveset guides for Ignis/Gladio/Prompto, if they are worth talking about. But other than that, I really don't know. I just sorta started making videos because random people on the internet asked me to and now I suddenly have a youtube channel... :P So, what do you wanna see? The game is pretty old at this point but there's still DLC to come. I'm really not one to do lets plays, so don't expect anything like that. Do you wanna see more mechanical stuff or random shit like that Ignis video I made? About FFXV or not? Or should I just stop flooding your inbox with videos, now that the moveset guides are done? I'll be clear though: I'll not promise anything, but I'm very much open to ideas.
Asetoni FFXV love the videos so far btw and I wouldn't mind seeing different videos at all! Btw you can change the screen size in the ps4 settings, it happened to me too
Asetoni FFXV Well, you can leave this channel just for FF XV guides. they are the best weapon guide from the internet. You can make combo videos, not for exibition, but for strategy. You can, for example, show Noctis using a royal arm and doing a back step to avoid an attack, than switching to a Sword so Noctis flyies to the back of the enemy. than you do a attack on the back, which unlocks a link strike. thats just an example. you show why you did that, why is that usefull. which weapons conbinations are the best? or maybe you can show the different setups you can do in the game. how to be a magician? which weapons are the best? show that royal arm that gives damage according to your magic. what should I do while I wait the magic to recharge? if I want to break appendage, what are the best weapons for that? the best moves? how to max the break multiplier? how to use the party to destroy the enemy. Using their techniques, how to make them inflict a lot of damage. how to make they survive. how to play as full dps. tricks to survive the royal arms penalty in HP. which moves are the ones that will inflict more damage? your channel is amazing! your videos should have A LOT more views, you deserve it. I will do anything I can to show you to most people I can :)
Would love to see some attempts at strategy in the combat. I really feel like there's stuff im missing, but I also feel like the combat might just be poorly balanced. lol
MemoriesLP Thanks for the kind words and support :) That's a lot of ideas, wow :O Making videos about combat strategy and tips is certainly something I'm considering. They'd certainly be less... objective than these guides, because there are probably a lot of different playstyles and strategies, and mine would most certainly not be the best. That, and I'd actually need to git gud at this game, instead of just hacking a Garula's butt in 387 different ways :P I just wish this game were more challenging so that strategy and skill would actually matter. All of the content in my videos is almost useless in practice, because you can just buy 99 elixirs and never have to worry about dying ever again. Here's hoping we get a hard mode and that the multiplayer dlc is actually good/popular. Would certainly help with the longevity of this game and my channel.
About the Katana.... If you do plan to use it often use a High MP/ High HP Build with MP Regen and HP Regen. < This is for effeciency I also recommend getting Point Blank Warp Strike
Looking forward to the phase-counter video you were talking about. I was sitting here wondering where they all were, but it's nice to know you're making something separate for 'em.
I just kinda left them out originally for reasons and thought it would be odd to just suddenly start including them, so I decided it's better to just make a separate video.
I noticed something about SotF aerial combo just recently (didn't do extensive testing mind you), if you use it againts large enemies (like Ifrit size or larger) SotF has the longest aerial sword combo as well as keeping you on air for the longest time without using airstep at all.
I just wanna correct myself about something I said in discord the yesterday. It doesn't actually have an extra attack, it just oops the normal sword aerial combo. Normal swords aren't able to do the combo more than once without airsteppping, but SotF seems to be able to chain it as many times as you want until you hit the ground.
Tbh, not at all :/ It's only barely faster than doing it with airstep, which also gives you way more mobility options and more damage if you're using Ultima/Balmung. Why is SotF this disappointing? Of all RAs, you'd expect them to put the most effort to this one -.-
funny, I didn't noticed back then, only now when I further slow down the video, BUT when Noct is drawing the Katana at 1:02 the Blade and sheath do not match at all! Looks so weird xD
@@asetoniffxv22 agree. Katana and the Sword of the Father are the most disappointing Royal Arms. If the Sword of the Father is somehow playable, the Katana of the Warrior is just a death penalty for Noctis.
Just tried it. Unfortunately, you're wrong, you can't airstep/airdance even with Sword of the Father. I just don't understand why they made Royal Arms unable to do it...
yup bummer, just tried it myself too :(.. i mean i could understand weapons like the mace (greatswords category) not being able to do it but small weapons? would've been fantastic
Leaving this here because I don't trust the PM system to notify you: how the hell did you get any footage of the Royal Arms in the Gladio training sessions? He dies in like 4 hits even when Noctis only has the Shield and one other Royal Arms equipped with no accessories or strength outfits. Do I just have to speedrun a level 1 playthrough to get all the Royal Arms so that Gladio won't explode?
Yea, I just used my level 1 save that had (almost) every Royal Arm and equipped the shield to get my strength to 0. He still dies fast and I got like 1-2 chances to get the footage I wanted per fight, but it was still faster than running around looking for Garulas. If you don't wanna speedrun the game, you could use that food that reduces your strength to zero (although, since making the ring video, I've been kinda skeptical if they actually work).
The Tenebrae cake thing that costs a fortune (the one featured in Brotherhood). You can get it from Galdin Quay after completing a couple side quests there. I'm not sure if Ignis can learn it but it would make sense that he coukd...
The damage from holograms scale as normal or is it fixed? Does it benefit from damage buffs like the one given by the Blade of the Mystic? Just random questions :P

Kat Scarlett Wow, really? Damn, so all my videos have these ugly black borders for no reason. Well, fuck...

thank u for these guides Asetoni, i needed them

Hp damage on royal arms are percentage base so high mp and regen

Nice, sounds good man^
the katana moves specially the wrap strike reminds me of Virgil from DMC
Yes it is but it is too weak compare to Vergil's moves.
basically anything with a katana reminds me of him.lol.
Great setup great help. 11/10

Asetoni FFXV That said, how practical this "infinite" aerial combo loop would be?
Tbh, not at all :/ It's only barely faster than doing it with airstep, which also gives you way more mobility options and more damage if you're using Ultima/Balmung.

LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE

hey man! check this real quick, i believe you can airdance using the sword of the father.. but i could be wrong,

What food does that? I only have the one that reduces magic to 0.

Asetoni FFXV
He can. I checked.
The damage from holograms scale as normal or is it fixed? Does it benefit from damage buffs like the one given by the Blade of the Mystic?
Just random questions :P
It scales with strength, so yes, Blade of the Mystic does boost it.
Awesome! Thx :o
how I call the Titan summan
It's random, but you need to be in an open area and some of your allies need to be KO'd, I think.
Asetoni FFXV there is actually a website which has all the factors which increase the chance of summons
www.google.ie/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.rpgsite.net/feature/5114-final-fantasy-xv-guide-how-to-summon-the-astrals-to-your-aid&ved=0ahUKEwim0d-7xvbRAhXGDcAKHSvuDTMQFggjMAM&usg=AFQjCNFbsB4LH4dHvlC0wbhdxWCMm0F-mw
