I saw a replay of the start and they all got out of the blocks equally in super slow mo. Her starts are inconsistent, but she nailed it today, which combined with her top end speed was the difference.
Her starts be choppy, by the time she’s stands up in stride the 3 Jamaican ladies been in stride…she just got that amazing comeback speed.

CONGRATS to SchaCarri-the lane doesn't really matter for the 100m. SFAP has also won a WC title from the outside lane from a field of 8 finalists. There are mistakes that SHERICKA made but congrats to SchCarri for her first WC title.

I'm a Shelly guy, but when I saw how fast Sha'Carri finished that semi final after a terrible start I got worried. She actually looks like the fastest woman and then she proved it in the final.
She was saving her best for last.
She knew what she was doing..
She qualified easily with the 3rd best time. She just had an usually awful reaction time in the semis, nothing else. The run itself was good. She was always going to be top 2 favorite in the final, so it's not a surprise she won
