I'm not even a district player but still managed to master leg glance and flick shot. The key is to just touch the ball don't try to play that shot deliberately just give it a touch and see the magic happen.
I agree with James Hawkins... he's a good player, he hasn't been beat so far and has defence is solid and he's hit some Great attacking shots... I'm just saying that the ability to play front foot drives makes me like the batsmen more... from what I've seen I know he'll be great at drives and I wish to see him play some
@@kaaaaazzzz Yes true. And we criticise the players who fail to score. The ones who criticize the players, should first know that everything happens so quickly out there. 0.5 seconds for footwork, hand eye coordination, controlling the swing plus playing the shot, damn. Btw, are you talking about the Cook dismissal on sky sports?
Nice straight bat and some very nice shots. But even at just 70 mph, the front foot only ends up just in front of the popping crease most of the time. That is fine on an artificial wicket where the ball does not move off the pitch and the bounce is completely true. But get on grass and he gets an off- cutter or one keeps a little low, it's an LBW waiting to happen. Some obviously weren't there to go right forward. But even when they were, he doesn't. With the ones just outside off, the front foot goes slightly forward and straight down the pitch, whilst the bat goes out to defend the ball. A bus could drive through that gap at times and a good off-cutter or inswinger would do the job for sure.
Going deep in the crease playing the ball late , taking the start by moving in the slight right hand side...good rythm to shake and get ready for the newer variation ! WELL PLAYED
Tomorrow my 50 overs match and I couldn't score a big score thanks for making this video and also thanks to UA-cam for recommend me... It will be help alot me to score a huge runs thanks
It’s really not, this machine is my worst nightmare. I hate facing it because it’s not representative of watching the wrist of a bowler. Each ball the load time is gonna be different and hard to watch from point of release. It’s also nicer hitting real balls
@@christo91 i am training at academy at all speeds till 100mph , so please dont tell me about speeds. The easiest to play is faster deliveries than slower ones .
the scariest thing about facing fast bowling is when one comes up at your chest you don’t want to miss those
Love the encouragement coming from behind the bowling machine
2:22 that leg side shot. Oof. Stuff of dreams for amateur cricketers
Yeah man, leg side deliveries are quite hard to time.

Good batting playing the ball late I would of liked to see a few fuller ball testing the drive but great vid looks like a good player 👍🏼

people saying it's not fast, just measure the time between the ball popping out of the machine and when he makes contact with it
Its less than 1 seconds. At one point its less than 0.5
@@rudradwivedi434 They showed on sky sports the other day batters have about 0.46 sec to deal with 90/95 mph

It looks a hell of a lot faster when your up the other end.
This is my daily work

batting is all about transfer of weight. Which this batter needs to work on. Especially on the back foot!

I really like your stance. It looks like Kane Williamson's stance and strokes.
Nice video it's a pleasing to watch it

90 mph was serious pace
inswingers will trouble him into the pad because of his back and across movement before the ball is delivered
VK , BABAR , ABD all playes in swinger good with same trigger movement

Straight balls. Any Eskimo will play comfortably......
Good batting sir nice video
This batsmen is only backfoot player he don't play any drives btw good video
This man made it look so easy
Nice video
Good batting 🙌
bro be playing 99 like 80 meanwhile struggling on 87
Mixer of Kane Williamson and smith
Nice batting 👍
But don't hold the bat that much high before the ball is delivered
Joe Root and Brian Lara to name a few
@Lavi they are hitters, swinging bat is needed more when want to hit longer shots not for defense
He likes playing it late
he can hold the bat where he wants, I can be pretty certain that he's miles better than you
Some of his shots like AB Deviallars

Faster balls are easier to play than slower ones , the slowest ones are the most difficult .
Not when it gets to 90mph+
@@christo91 90mph is not a common fast bowlers speed , when ball is at 90+ , yes we have to respect the bowler and defend.
