Good timing on this video I just started collecting Kruleboyz. That Killaboss ability is good for any stab grots that might have used up any of their actions with their reaction, as you suggested. I’d like to know if there is a destruction list where you wouldn’t want a Brewgit haha
haha, if the brewgit wasn't 70 points of 'make any and every fighter better' then probably. I guess some sort of shooty destruction list which does no melee??
Not to quite the same extent but I feel like the brute boss is another minor league "every destruction list needs one" sort of unit. At it's price point, buying access to You Messin gives you a lot of flexibility elsewhere in the list. That being said, I quite like the Ardboy Boss as a cheaper ally option - waagh to help get footsloggers moving a bit faster and obviously its got a good punchy fighting profile - looks fairly scary to chaff
@@andrewmorris550 I guess it's a nice problem to have; a bunch of highly desirable statlines/abilities can can basically be ported into whatever list you want to write:)
My krule list atm - swampcalla(165), 3 stickas (225), mannok n Torka tuff (310), rockgut troggoth (185), slitta n pot grot (115) … 9 models and lots of punch..
Thanks for the video. Can you elaborate on the point about "You Messin" And the gutrippaz being 14 wounds please ? How is it connected &/ comboing? Also, for Darkoath, you listed the Slaughterborn with Blade, did you mean Axe? It seems to have a better damage profile.
Sure; You Messin’ reads: Until control of objectives has been determined at the end of the battle round, enemy fighters with a Wounds characteristic of 14 or less are not counted when determining which player controls an objective within 3" of this fighter. Your basic Gutrappas have 15 wounds which means that whilst You Messin' will affect your opponent's chaff units who generally have a wounds characteristic of 10 or less, your Gutrippa's are unaffected. Destruction soup is very common in the meta so its pretty normal to see at least one brute boss in those warbands. It allows you to be immune to that effect whilst still affecting your opponent's fighters. Both slaughterborn have good melee profiles imo. Depending on what you expect to face, there isnt much difference between S5 and S6 but that additional attack is very valuable even at one less base damage.
Oh man I love using the Hobgrot boss. That little guy has some really good numbers for his cost!

I always like to see a troll. I feel like they are so underutilised by destruction given the amount of good, hard hitting, heroes they have.

Somehow I had not thought of the Darkoath Warqueen attacks bubble for 2.0
Replies mid video, immediately before getting a shout out 😂
Hah, anyone who can generate 20+ wild dice in a game deserves the recognition XD
