- I wanted to try something a bit different and unique. I think I got there. And had a lot of fun doing it! God Hates a Coward originally by Tomahawk, covered by me. Eclectic, yet one of my favorite songs.

Does the mask make it make that sound
The mask does do part of the sound - it's an AKG C418 taped into the mask, and there are mixing effects, but it does give it a more mid-range sound since it's a small space!
I was just thinking about doing the same things how do you get all the takes and overlap?
Damn 😀 i was rehearsing this song with my band and everything is easy except that "day by" part 😭 even when i hit the notes it does not sound so powerful... It has to start low and soft and then you raise your intensity and go higher and higher 😅 Mike is hard to copy. Although Midnight is a peace of cake after this demon of a song 😂 Nice work guys. 👌

Hey, how do you microfone that mask? Or how do you get that distorted vocal effect? You did a very good cover!
Thank you! I used an AKG C418 clip on mic (pretty small), and duct taped it to the inside of the mask for the recording. The tape didn't stick well, so I had to reapply it every couple of takes, but it got the job done!
Any kind of source on how to diy this mask thingy?
When I did this video, I had taped an akg C418 clip on mic in the respirator that I'd used when doing construction in the recording studio! 😀
