- Speaking on the terrorist infiltration in J&K, Jammu and Kashmir DGP RR Swain on July 1 said that all these were acts of pure terror and has no communal angle to it and that they are carrying out their operations in Jammu because they are well aware of the composite population and they want to make it communal
“This is as clear as day, that involvement of our men in militancy is reducing by the day... There are terror factories and camps that are operating to produce terrorists... A good boundary wall is often supposed to be a sign of good neighborly relations... They are indulging in all these activities because they are well aware that with a budget of Rs 1 crore, they can tamper and destroy projects worth Rs 400-500 crores going on in schools, roads, tunnels, hospitals etc... We are protecting what we have promised our citizens, that is why we fight and spend what we do. But they infiltrate via tunnels like mice... They are activating their old routes for infiltration... They are carrying out their operations in Jammu because they are well aware of the composite population and they want to make it communal... All these were acts of pure terror and has no communal angle to it...” said RR Swain.
