I mean Sweedish for bear is Björn Sounds good to me... Great addition to the park. I am really enjoying this series of slowing going through all the generations of theme park evolution.
I thought of some history for the actual ride: After Black Mamba opened in 2006, the park executives went over to ride it and loved it. They went to B&M to see if they could make something on a smaller scale for The Royale Myle and if they could get it open in 2008. They had all of the plans together for it and were about to start construction, but the recession started. The park lost money in 2007 and 2008, but by 2009 they were finally able to bring up the funds to open the ride. So, in August 2009, ground was broken and construction began. They were able to dig out all of the trenches, build the station, and begin construction on the brake run and final helix before an early but mild winter that year. Construction started back up in late February. By late April 2010, the ride was fully constructed, and testing began. Just before the start of the main season, the ride opened with a pass-holder preview and fully opened up on opening day. It immediately became the park's most popular ride; however, the excitement died down a bit by the end of the 2010 season, though the ride consistently would have one of the longest lines at the park all the way up until today! Also, you could name the ride "Größerer Bär"
Blimey, was Black Mamba really 2006?! That isn't long after Nemesis Inferno opened - but feels like there was a lot longer between the 2 coasters. I hate the passage of time. That's also quite the back story to the coaster too. Perfectly plausible I'd say. Especially as the attention for the park would have been over on the opposite side for the kids area.
Thanks for using the bear sign again. Kodiak was the coaster it came from. Shame it you can't change the brown to white and have it as a Polar Bear. Don't think it would look right.
It always seems a shame to let your signs get consigned to the history bin... Especially how good they are. I was tempted to crack open the Kraken one for next week too... :D
You see, I'm sure I said that I didn't want bear suggestions - but I can't actually remember what I said without checking... but.. that also doesn't make sense as to why I used the Kodiak bear as a sign.. so... I blame still being unwell.. haha
So, I have a tutorial series that tackles most of what you ask for.. And each series I've done; of which there are now 9, tackle how I start from a blank park ranging from literally nothing to having a "starter" park where something is already set up ready to be developed.
Boris Mayhem or Boris’s mayhem . Boris is a brown bear just like the sign and for the mayhem part maybe “ total mayhem has broken out " and now boris is now damaging the mountains he lives on
The new PC dramatically enhanced the whole park.. It's quite a stark change.. and my old one isn't a potato either.. tech has moved on so much in 3 years..
I've got a few suggestions all bear themed: Bear-zerker - This name combines the words "bear" and "berserker," which is a Norse warrior who was known for their ferocious fighting abilities. Bear Trap or Bear Trapper Koderna - Swedish for Kodiak. Bearmuda Triangle - for a water ride Honey Rush - Family coaster Honey Runner - Family coaster Honey Bunny - Kiddie ride
Your layouts are just so creative while still being realistic. I just love the coasters you make. Most people make really cookie cutter coasters that aren’t very interesting and aren’t too realistic, but your layouts are the exact opposite.
Ahh thanks!! That's the product of knowing exactly what a coaster CAN do out in the wild rather than only going by what current coasters do in the wild. People tend to say "oh, your coaster is not realistic because (insert coaster) doesn't do that" and often they are wrong. The sum of all the Inverts in the world, for example, is not the sum of what inverts CAN do. That's my sweet spot, I think... I'm by no means an expert in everything everywhere - and I often make mistakes - but it's a start at least.
I really like the way you play Planet Coaster, I enjoy every episode! Still, it's nice to hear that you still seem to be playing Planet Zoo (6:07), it would be really cool if you made new videos of it again!
Zoo doesn't do well on the channel though.. that's the problem. And Zoo is more more casual go-to as oppsoed to being hardcore into the depth of stuff. Like, I like to just throw down some stuff, bundle some animals together and watch the weather. My Zoos are similar to my Coaster stuff, but I defo don't give it the love and care that I do Coaster. And the problem is that if you're not good at Zoo, you're not watched.
Interesting fact... this one had a much steeper slant at one point and it looked awful.. so I stripped it back to this instead. But that said. It's just a roof. It ain't that deep.
As a Swiss guy I can confirm that the building indeed looks Swiss! We do also sometimes have wild bears here, so I recommend the following names: "M13", kind of a weird one, but the codename one bear that went pretty rogue had. Or "Artio" wich older generations (the helvetics) used to call the brown bear.
Off topic from this video but why in all of ur kids areas , you dont use some kiddy rides found on the workshop “ not funtioning obv “ but when added and detailed it adds that extra realisms
I try to steer clear from as many "pointless and unusable" things as possible.. I already use a lot of them in the form of car parks, maintenance areas, playgrounds, staff offices and stuff.. so adding too much more makes it over the top extreme. Plus people tend to get snarky when you use items from the workshop.
Alpengeist shout out. I love it. Was my first Invert and it is amazing. Still one of the largest inverts I have ever ridden. Great ride, has gotten rough over the years though.
I mean
Sweedish for bear is Björn
Sounds good to me...
Great addition to the park.

That is an outstanding name choice.

Der Bärenjäger
The bear hunter in german. It would be a cool name.
Thanks for using the bear sign again. Kodiak was the coaster it came from. Shame it you can't change the brown to white and have it as a Polar Bear. Don't think it would look right.

Berserker because Old norse culture. It sounds mean and looks mean
You should call the B&M Invert "Antagonist" For absolutely no real world reason at all *cough*
PLEASE CHACHO THROW AWAY THE BEAR NAME IDEA FOR THIS PLEASE
You see, I'm sure I said that I didn't want bear suggestions - but I can't actually remember what I said without checking... but.. that also doesn't make sense as to why I used the Kodiak bear as a sign.. so... I blame still being unwell.. haha
the episode we've all been waiting for and it didn't disappoint. awesome POV 👌 not a patch of land gone to waste!
Fjellbjorn? It means 'mountain bear'
Also, are premieres coming back?
Beartooth ridge as the ride name, as always Chaco excellent video and park!!
Amazing video! But, could you start doing tutorials on scenery and coaster smoothness, and another question, how do you just start a blank new park?
So, I have a tutorial series that tackles most of what you ask for..
And each series I've done; of which there are now 9, tackle how I start from a blank park ranging from literally nothing to having a "starter" park where something is already set up ready to be developed.
Boris Mayhem or Boris’s mayhem . Boris is a brown bear just like the sign and for the mayhem part maybe “ total mayhem has broken out " and now boris is now damaging the mountains he lives on
The politically minded in me wants to think that this is a very weird way to take a shot at the current UK government haha
Maybe name it Abominable as in the abominable snow man…kinda a bear, right? Or maybe… Grizzly…or Polar (Polar bear)
Excellent coaster, my favorite in this park so far. The new PC drastically improves the POVs.
The new PC dramatically enhanced the whole park.. It's quite a stark change.. and my old one isn't a potato either.. tech has moved on so much in 3 years..
Name Suggestion: Bear Mountain
I've got a few suggestions all bear themed:
Bear-zerker - This name combines the words "bear" and "berserker," which is a Norse warrior who was known for their ferocious fighting abilities.
Bear Trap or Bear Trapper
Koderna - Swedish for Kodiak.
Bearmuda Triangle - for a water ride
Honey Rush - Family coaster
Honey Runner - Family coaster
Honey Bunny - Kiddie ride
I was thinking Ursa Major for coaster, leaves Ursa Minor open for a junior coaster too
Great Bear moment
Should call it Arctodus simus - the giant short-faced bear - roughly 2000 pounds it's a bear that's gone into extinction
I think the name “alpine bear” could be awesome. Love your vids and your parks are amazing.
Name suggestion Bear Thrills and the ride is excessively themed with bear grylls marketing
I was going to jokingly say Ursa Major (Great Bear) but instead, how about Ursalpina.
Winter theme, with the apline and a bear thinking "Polar Avalanche" for the name here.
i think we should call the old style invert from 2010 great bear ;D
Yes my favorite coaster model.
Bears were scared to the Greek godess Artemis, so the name 'Artemis' could work.
Name suggestion: Awakened bear

The POV is amazing with the new PC!!! I'm sure it cost and arm and a leg but totally worth! I saw a comment for the name "Bear-zerker". I like it!
Oh man, I don't even want to admit how much I spent on my new PC.. I'm in true denial about it.. but it is TOTALLY worth it!
I really like the way you play Planet Coaster, I enjoy every episode! Still, it's nice to hear that you still seem to be playing Planet Zoo (6:07), it would be really cool if you made new videos of it again!

Yeah, I see! I really appreciate your decision!
Thanks for replying to my comment and keep going!
The great bear…. Just kidding 😅 the bear hurt
It’s a bit late for a B&M inverted rollercoaster isn’t it?
Nemesis was 1994
What took Royal myle so long?
Still sooner than Gronalund, happy Valley, Parc Astérix and Kings Island...
I'm used to alpine roofs having a steeper slant. but a UK park probably doesn't have to worry about snow build up.
Interesting fact... this one had a much steeper slant at one point and it looked awful.. so I stripped it back to this instead.
But that said. It's just a roof. It ain't that deep.
You should call it 'grizzly'
Growler is my name suggestion
Kodiak!
Ah yes!! Kodiak!!
big bear mountain 🤣🤣

@@Nerdchacho True true
Nemesis tundra?
Call it bear-with-it
I love it! Especially all the queues and the transfer track. 😍
BEAR
with me
Grizzly Gorge
Bear Slayer.
Alpengeist shout out. I love it. Was my first Invert and it is amazing. Still one of the largest inverts I have ever ridden. Great ride, has gotten rough over the years though.
Name suggestion: The beast (The beast is referring to the bear but it sounds cooler when you say beast)
Great video as always. See you next week.
Bear hunt
Alpen-Ursus
"Not" Great Bear... had to.
Greater Bear
