I love Toby Stephens, he was the best ever James Bond baddy in the films, and he is the best James Bond we never had. Chiselled English good looks, perfect British accent, posh without being plummy. What more do you want
Yeah, I really, really hope they will make radio dramas out of the remaining Bond novels, Casino Royale, You Only Live Twice etc. With the same cast and crew!
@@mr.comments7017 yes there is actually. I have them all in my "Audible" app library. I have Casino Royale all the way through The Man with the Golden Gun, and even Colonel Sun as well.😎
@@mr.comments7017 make sure you download the versions that have a red, white, and black background. They are the best versions. And Toby Stephens himself narrates From Russia, with Love in these versions.😀

Early, chill, dark nights...the time for ghost stories and fantasy! Perhaps two radio play ghost stories I’ve produced AND a brand new mystery listed on my channel “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT AND a radio fantasy comedy, “A Trip to the Moon” starring Joyce Randolph of The Honeymooners, which features Larry Robinson, who, as a child actor, actually worked with Orson Welles. Here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/Hex2ltykNTM/v-deo.html--Claud. If you don’t want to click the link just search “Claude Chabot presents” on UA-cam.
It's sort of neat in the fact that it may have roots in the process eon uses for casting supporting cast members. They often have supporting castmembers substitute for the leading man in screentesting prospective castmembers.
LOL I know the beginning parts in the African American club are supposed to be the threatening moments and other things. But for some reason I was totally cracking up and dying of laughter when all the African American people in the club were all going wild and laughing and being silly and going “Gee Gee” it just made me laugh. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But in all things, it doesn’t sound all that different compared to today, because there’s always a lot of people when in night clubs and strip clubs doing crazing things and howling like wolves and being crazy. LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love these James Bond dramas a lot. :)

Yes. I have just uploaded the new TMWTGG radio drama here on YT thanks to you letting me know about it. You were the same exact person last year that told me about live and let die when I didn't know it was released! I'm going to have to name you as my "trusty assistant" lol. Thanks once again for letting me know about the new bond radio dramas.😉
@@naughtydog1617 Oh you remembered me! lol. Thanks for you for the uploading, you have all the credit. How do you menage to extact the sound from the BBC website?
@@moneyofpropre2 I'm very honored. Thanks. I used a video download converter program called "Allavsoft" to extract the sound from the BBC site. Then I used a video trimming program called "TunesKit Video Cutter" to cut out the 3 minutes of commercials after TMWTGG ends.

J. Edgar Hoover hated Brits. Probably every other nation's intelligentsia, as well. Probably himself. Maybe hated being male. He would not have sent a warm message to Bond.
So, one of my favorite FYEO scenes is actually from the LLD novel? Interesting.

Better than Blofeld ? Better than Goldfinger ? Better than Jaws ? And and and .. there’s a long list ahead of him as the best bond villains ..
Ability to act ??
His style works well for radio. Personally, I'd prefer a little more bass in my Bond's voice.
Thank you for posting these.
Great escapism during these difficult times for all of us.
Absolutely!
Always interesting how straight to the point some of these original Bond stories were. The first few Connery films adapted them pretty close.
Dalton did too, bits of this story made their way into licence to kill.
Thank you for these great bond plays they are brilliant also a great comfort to listen to.
HUGE BOND FAN. These are audio gems. Thanks.
Toby was a great villain but a better Bond. TOBY FOR BOND.
This really surprises me that there was no radio drama based on Casino Royale, the very first Bond book

One of my favourite books! And Toby Stephenson makes such a great Bond!
My absolute favorite of the Bond novels with Moonraker being my 2nd favorite. 😎

It was TMWTGG.

For Your Eyes Only is the next one, hopefully.
Casino Royale, but I would like to see a remake of You Only Live Twice because I love that particular entry.
Casino Royale, because we have You Only Live Twice. Maybe finish up with that or the short stories
I enjoyed this radio adaptation more than the novel or the film.

... will he?
... fair chance ...
he is James Bond!
really, too bad he only got a cheesy villain role in film series... He's really great as James Bond here!
What a treat thank you
Brilliant! Thank you.
Excellent 😊
It’s weird to think of a bond baddy playing bond himself in these audio dramas! Great work nonetheless 👏👏👏
