Been wanting to learn this one for so long, THANK YOU! I love jack white, definitely one of the greatest guitarists EVER, outside the guitar community he’s so underrated.
I have been listening to this a lot lately and it's been making me want to pick up my guitar again, and play like I used to. It's like you read my mind Marty!
This is definitely next on my list. Marty can you please post the settings you use on your amp on the description for those of us with kanata boss amps. 😃 Love you tutorials, keep shreading!
This is the best White Stripes song. I have to wait for new strings before I learn it but can't wait. Also could you do a lesson for You know my name by Chris Cornell and Another way to die by Jack White and Johnny Marrs part from No time to die. I've really been getting into the James Bond franchise and would love to learn those songs.
Man awesome vids! I feel like Offend in Every Way would be a great beginner song by Jack to do! Sick simple riff, am currently trying to learn it! Great stuff Marty
Can you please, make more Jack White lessons? Maybe, "Little Cream Soda", and "You don't know what love is from the White Stripes. Or" Sunday driver" and "Now that you 're gone" from the Raconteurs. Thanks !
Hey Marty - back in the day you had a video of you jamming a killer solo in a band with Alley, and it was awesome. Any chance you're able to re-post that? I know everyone loved it.
I've been playing acoustic guitar for about 2 years now and I'm looking to buy my first Electric guitar (a Squier Bullet Strat). They have 2 pickup configurations available (SSS and HSS) for roughly the same price. Which one would be a better option for me? Mark Knopfler, Clapton, Hendrix are among my favourites as a guitarist. Some of them use the classic snappy position 2 which IMO sounds pretty much the same on both options. However it's the bridge pickup that is causing all the trouble. I also love ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin and other Rock and Hard Rock bands (not into metal as much tho 😉) that use humbucker guitars so probably HSS; but I love the twangy, crisp sound of the single coil pickups as well so I am still sitting on the fence and can't decide. I play with a pick 40% of the time. Is it possible to find a compromise with adequate twang as well as powerful Overdriven sounds for Riffs? Is that HSS? Will the middle pickup or bucker have enough twang to satisfy my needs and will the bucker still sound good clean? Any help would be much appreciated! I can only afford one guitar at the moment so I want to get the best I can get! 😊
Get both lol. But seriously it doesn't really matter starting out, the one you like the look of is the one you will play. the amp has a bigger part in the sound so just get a great modeling amp and then you can get all the sounds and effects you need and save heaps of $ on buying individual effects
@@Beets82 Thanks for your kind reply. I don't think my dad will get me both... but I'll buy SSS as well as Les Paul later on maybe... thanks for the advice about the amp by the way. I feel the same about effects.. I am getting a Blackstar ID core 10 with inbuilt effects so I don't have to bug my dad any more than I need too 😁
@@varunagrawal7036 ive had that amp since i started playing electric 4 years ago. great wee amp with fantastic drive and distortions effects that can get very loud. even after 4 years i still have no plans to get a new amp yet because of how good that one is
Hey Marty, I would love to see a breakdown of a little known Jimmy Bowskill song call Six O'clock...it's a upbeat blues jam and I think it would be so much fun to learn to play?
MY EXCITEMENT!!!! This is one of my favorite songs of all time!!! I’m so confused by the final whammy solo of this song, maybe break that down in the future?
Hey Marty nice song keep up the good work. I was wondering if you can teach Knee Deep by Zac Brown Band in acoustic. Very neat song I would really appreciate it if u did.

Jack White played New Orleans Jazz Fest and sounded fantastic. Great demo as always Marty. Real good looking video quality. Thanks.
Mannnnn that riff is next level badass🙌🏻🙌🏻 (talking about the bagpipes😜)
It’s not bagpipes, it’s a clavioline.
Bro's so good at explaining a song he could do it in only 5 more minute than the actual song itself
I waited so long for Marty to cover this.
There are other channels, but I decided that I'll wait for Marty.
I have been listening to this a lot lately and it's been making me want to pick up my guitar again, and play like I used to. It's like you read my mind Marty!
