- This week we return to our favourite beach, twice! We decided to take a real close look at the ground on our hands and knees. We were rewarded by a myriad of amazing tiny finds. Come with us to see what we found!
If you would like to watch us use some of the items we found in miniature crafting, pop over to our second channel `The Miniature World Of Kit + Caboodlers` -

This is an exceptionally beautifully filmed video, and I love the simple background music. 😊
Thank you very much I (Fleur) was trying something new :)
lovely bead-fest and other finds...thank you for taking us along. ❤😊
Thank you! 😊
A great bead day! The dolls head looks kind of matronly. Could she be the mum of the house? 😆
Some strange finds. Hope you find out if it’s a monkey handle. Great day out. I really enjoyed the beautiful relaxing video. 🐞
Thank you! :)
You found a wand! I didn't see it in the round up, though. The little cork with lead top and lid looks like a great head and hat for a scarecrow. What a wonderful bead day! Just lovely finds.
The wand is drying out and it really does look like a scarecrow, so that is what it shall become :)
It is such a lovely mystery to ponder how those beads end up on the beaches for you to lovingly rescue..they never seem to be from just one thing or alike ...the stories they could tell! Thank you for sharing your trips.much love
Agree,absolutely love beads!!! :)
Would you ever consider opening up a mudlarking/crafting bed and breakfast? ❤
Not sure I (Fleur) am a terrible cook haha :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers me too!!!! would pay/stay for the mudlarking crafts and company.
I love tje long wedding cake bead. The melting made it more beautiful to me. I would wear it!
Hi, it seems you worked hard for two days to find those treasures, hope your knees were not too sore! No idea what the brown 'brown monkey handle' is but the beads were fascinating. Have a great week.
Our knees are fine thank you so much :) :)
Another wonderful video, Fleur & Kate! The music was beautiful & relaxing. If the violin was swapped out for a guitar, it seemed like it could be one of Tom Burleigh's creations.
I thought I would try something a little different this week (Fleur) with the music. It does sound like Toms song haha :)
We call them studs. There just decorative fake buttons with no pocket or use. Love all the beads the keg tap part is awesome too.
Studs kept collars affixed Hence collar studs😁
Wonderful beads and other lovely craft items😊Thank you Ladies for sharing your awesome finds🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was just hoping for a bead day, and I got one! I suspect that if you wait for a good storm, the shore will be replenished with goodies. There must be many just under the surface.
We definitely need some good storms to churn things up :)
The cork with the lid would make a perfect scarecrow head!!
I was thinking that also
Wonderful finds! I think the "thing" looks like an old man in a rocking chair.
Whay a great couple days at the beach! It is always fun to find beads and doll parts! I liked them all! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
Thank you! :)
Another wonderful day. Thanks for letting us come along. I had a perfect time.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you :)
Brilliant! As ever. I love watching you.
Did not want this video to end! Your soothing voices, gentle crunch as you walked along the shore & the quiet music. ASMR to me. Fantastic tiny finds. ❤ from Michigan, USA
😊 thank you
Ooh, the crunchy footsteps, like the scrape of a trowel, some lovely sounds.😊
That lid with cork at 7:56 sort of looked like a neck with a collar for a doll to me. I liked the little green bead that looked like a frog.
Inordinately grateful for your lovely faces and extremely cinematic videos xo
Thank you! :)
That’s still a beautiful bead, even burnt it’s a beautiful find. I love a bead day! The creature you found, I think it is a handle from a Japanese jug. I love the video.
Thank you:)
Lovely finds and so many beads. Love the acorns on that piece of pottery. Interesting about the tap don't think I have ever seen one like that before. The long blue and coloured bead was interesting and unusual.Made my evening as I thought I would take a look and see if you had another video up and there you were. Always enjoy your company and the lovely music. Take care.
Kate wants to perhaps cut the acorns out as she does love an acorn too :) :)
The glass bit that Fleur found could be repurpossed as a dress form for the doll house.
What a fabulous idea!
Great idea! :)
Im so excited i found you vedios. I have went back and watched so many. I so enjoy and feel like im almost there with you two. Lovely to see mom and daughter enjoying the same passion.
Thank you so much, glad you enjoy watching :)
That was very relaxing 😌
I really like how close you look to the ground, and your camera work reflects that, you can never go wrong finding all those great beads...
Thank you! :)
How do your eyes even pick out those tiny seed beads amongst all those stones?
Lots of practice :) :)
This is the favorite beach I see you both going to, I hope we see you coming here more
This was our first mudlarking beach and it will always hold a special place in our hearts regardless of quantity of finds :) :)
Beads for Mudlarkmas again
great finds for the dolls house.
You need to make some doll necklaces with those teeny tiny beads.
Bitsy has a seed bead necklace :)
I Love you Gail and Kate! Always wonderful to see you Lark and find all the goodies!!
The mom's name is Fleur.
You're thinking of Gail and Alex.... a different channel. The Northern Mudlarks is their channel. This is Kit and Caboodlers, Fleur and Kate.
I'm not the only one to get these lovely ladies names confused! Both channels are excellent.
You looked like a little emu in the distance 😂
Love when you go to that beach, it’s my favorite.
It's so peaceful watching your videos, wish I'll get the opportunity to do this one day
Love your tiny treasures
Loved the beads ❤😊❤😊.
Some cool beads. thanks for a great video stay safe..V.R..
Thanks Victor👍
Never long enough. Wonderful surprise to find a new video!
We upload on Saturday now as it is easier on our schedule, thank you :)
It is never a bad day when you find beautiful beads, thanks Ladies.
Very very true :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers Kate I'm amazed at how you spotted that tiny black seed bead! It is minuscule almost to the point of invisibility. Well spotted. Will resume watching and edit this comment afterward. That oddly shaped piece of glass your mother found looks almost like you could use it as a dress maker's form for the doll house.
You both had very good bead days.
Hi from North Carolina.
I’m very stressed in the middle of sorting my mothers estate, made very difficult by us not being close and me not having information. Your relationship is so special. All the finds you make together and the crafting you do makes me wistful. You’re very blessed to have this bond.
Enjoy your videos. Hope all is well, hope dad and kitty are doing good. Interesting to see things you 2 make out of your finds, god bless.
you guys should make necklaces out of the beads you find and call them grandma's quilts
Love the beads great job ladies
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much :)
In time stamp 13:21, you found something ceramic with the word whiskey on it. I would have recovered all the pieces and glued the parts back together to research it’s history. Same for the printed lid cover that wasn’t complete - history comes in bits and pieces sometimes! Love the unique finds like the multicolored amber rock or glass!
Unfortunately it was stuck in a burnt lump otherwise I would have tried to see how much there was :)
I’m from Belfast & was very excited to see that whiskey label!
A lovely haul of beads, the two standouts being the small red rose one and the stunning long bead. And not to forget those colourful, picturesque shards of pottery, that brown chunky piece you found Kate resemble the colour of a Bartmans. Wonderful! Thank you both for an enjoyable 30 odd minutes.
Thanks so much 😊
Wow! This was a bead extravaganza of a day. So many fascinating little curiosities waiting to be rediscovered. Thank you for taking us along with you. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you!
I just wanted you to know I went back to watch as many videos as I could. I enjoyed them just as much the second and some the third time around. I love your family. I would suggest to ask your grandparents to tell you as many of your ancestors as they can remember and videotape it because it is priceless. You will have all the stories for your children and your brother’s children. I wish I had but mine passed when I was little. I s enjoy both of your channels and I found you when you just started. I loved you then and even more now. Lots of love from Diane in upstate New York.
Thank you so much for such a kind comment :)
Love that beach with the tiny finds.
Lovely spending time with you both - as always!
So many lovely beads on that foreshore and doll pieces. You had a couple of good days and the sun was shining. Thank you
Thanks so much 😊
I am a little late in viewing. Wonderful finds. Do you make your gloves? They are lovely. Lots of beads today!! Take care girls! 👩🦳🌺🐍🐊🐢🐷🐶🐱
I did make my gloves, they have tiny owls on them :)
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video
Another fun and relaxing outing for us joining you on your journey. Wish we were there. Thank you ladies.
Thank you:)
Lots of treasures. My kinda beach.❤
Very nice little finds, all the beads are beautiful 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! 😊
❤️ love watching your videos! I wish I could Mudlark in Texas. 🥺
I wish that all the time except I am in Az!!! Lol
Me too! I’m in central TX and I wouldn’t dare go into some of these creeks!
@@sisD how come? They that bad?
@@rockersfromaz3001 No but there’s always talk of gators, water snakes and buglets everywhere!!!! 😱 Just give me the creeps thinking about it.
@@sisD oh hell no lol I wouldn’t be going in there either
Ghe curved green glass would be an excellent chili pepper for the dollhouse kitchen! Like a poblano or hatch chili.
Brilliant idea :)
The “topper” at 11:50 looks like it would make a good acorn top😊
Great idea :)
Thank you for this lovely video.
When hubby and I were visiting Portobello Road on a visit to London, I purchased a pipe bowl with a big nosed characature on it. I never knew who he represented, but now I wonder if it is Ally Sloper? Amazing!!!
It probably is as he was on a lot of pipe bowls :)
The lead stopper with Cork still attached made me think of the scarecrow from The wizard of oz. Please, please, please make a scarecrow for the garden..... That would be amazing x
As usual an insight into the past. Fantastic and the films are firever improving. Thsnk you learned goddesses
Thank you so much :) :)
Now I know who to call if I ever lose my needle in a haystack. If you can find a black seed bead on a beach…..😊
I was just thinking, you could make silicone moods of the flower to make lots of “ cabbages”.
That weird thing looks like something H.RGiger, like the alien skeleton in the derelict in Alien.😂 Great lark, some lovely finds!
The mystery find looks like a fetus/ curved skeleton. It looks like vertebrae running down the outermost curve.
Love the beads!
Thank you! 😊
It is always enjoyable, soothing, interesting and refreshing to watch and feel the thrill of each find! Glad to see mom and daughter making lifetime memories together!!
I still think it’s the best beach you go to and my favorite. You can go back and uSe your instruments to look by scraping plus when there’s a storm or tide coming in it brings new items.
That wedding bead can you drill or use a hot wire to go threw the beautiful bead? I’d love such a bead hate to see it go to waste
We do love this beach too, we are hoping for some big storms too :)
Always learn something new in your videos!
I love watching you, pick up the China for me Kate and Fleur! There’s none where I live in Cornwall x
I could watch your videos all day long that little green bit I thought it looked like a frog to. love you from Tennessee USA
😊 thank you
Such a neat spot I think. Like you said tiny beach finds. Love the scenery, peaceful
Thank you! :)
I love your necklace Kit
I think your 1/2 clay pipes would make lovely scoones for the walls in the dolls house
Lovely idea :)
I realize you were just pronouncing EW but it struck me funny 🤣
:):) :)
Where do all the beads come from?
They come from broken necklaces mainly, I think, thrown away in the rubbish, particularly from 1920`s rubbish :)
Beautiful beads! Loved that little piece of pottery with that little daisy on it!
Thank you! 😊
Would anybody on here like any dolls limbs ?! I keep finding them & they need to go to someone who will use them x
I'm going to Halstow in a couple of weeks to do some treasure hunting, can't wait!
Love from the old lady in Texas USA may God bless you always and forever
The macro lover in me knew I would enjoy this video. I can see some of those tiny beads being donuts in your dolls house, even the green flower could be a jell-o mold. I'm beginning to think you two are the bead queen and princess, like the pipe queen Nicola! I can't even imagine all the beads that are just under the surface out of sight, you will need to do another string for us to remind us of all you have, I bet it's double the last time!
Best of luck on your next treasure hunt!😊
I have something that I want to send you both. But I have no idea where I can send to you.
The glass with the color inside would make a good dress makers dummy!
The yellow and green glass item looks like it could be a part of a glass pen
That one piece looks like the space jockey fossil seen in the first Alien movie lol
The paste top with a cork looks like a scarecrows head. So cool.
It really does haha :)
Maybe it is half of a rivet such as used on jeans and work clothes
Ik ben verslaafd aan jullie films!! Heerlijk om te zien!!❤
Would it not be easier to use a pan sifter to find the little things?
We did actually take a sieve but it was not very effective unfortunately without water :)
What an amazing video. So many beautiful treasures found. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching you two ladies finding such beautiful little relics from the past. The wealth of knowledge you both have is amazing. Keep up the great videos. Much love from Virginia, USA.
Thanks so much!
Off topic...strange music choice
Sorry if the music seemed odd to you, I (Fleur) thought I might try something a bit different on my turn to edit. (We take turns editing films) Bit risky but it makes the editing process more fun if you experiment sometimes :) :)
It's good to branch out. Good work
It amazing that you are able to find those tiny beads.
Hello 👋 from New York USA you Guy's found Some Amazing Finds Thank you for Bringing me Along with you Guy's I can't wait to see What you Find Next 😊

The knob could be cut down to make a pie for the dolls house
Some really great finds🤩🤩🤩💖💖
