That’s me (JJxD00M) in the second game ! Haha didn’t realize I was going against three content creators including #1 RANKED PLAYER but GG’s nonetheless , I got lazy with Edwin Diaz but happy with my 6 hitless innings 😅
Hes not lying about being born for hitting in this game. Anyone can be good, but the best hitters have the ability to be fast twitch and have perfect hand-eye coordination to make micro-adjustments
Just a thought on why this may so interesting: Some people grew up playing/loving baseball so we play and choose players based off of nostalgia and preference/style. Some people genuinely enjoy MLB the show so they play the game a completely different way
This guy is nastyyyy also dubs for being a Nats fan since I'm from the area. I wanted to comment on the hitting tips he gave, I agree with him that you either have it or you don't, and it all comes down to intuition. But, I think that's too much of an oversimplification and it surely doesn't mean that people can't be great nor become great. I think a great deal of a player's performance has to do with a balance between intuition and intelligence. Some players are innately born with a strong intuition, knack or feeling for the game, which allows them to be extremely good at the game early on. On the other hand, some players don't have that intuition as others do, they have to work from the ground up and intellectually break down the game and especially their performance to get better. This doesn't mean that intelligence will outplay intuition, I don't think that. I think that having a strong intuition is incredibly important to being a strong player and really should be the goal. I just think that intuition is something that can either be innately within you from the jump or something that can be built up in time. To go further on the point of striking a balance between intuition and intelligence, your intelligence should support your intuition and your intuition should support your intelligence. When you're playing from pure intuition and you're missing or making mistakes, that's where your intelligence can come into play and be of benefit; and when you're playing from sheer intelligence and you're missing or making mistakes, oftentimes its because you're overthinking or too much on edge, and that's where your intuition can come into play and be of benefit. TLDR; It is true you either have it or you don't, which comes down to intuition, but it is rather a half truth. Intuition is incredibly important, and though some players may start off with an innate gift of intuition, knack, or feeling for the sport, that sort of intuition can be built up and strengthened in time through analysis, intelligence, and practice. Overall, to be a strong player, in my view, you should be well rounded and balanced in both intuition and intelligence where your intuition is informed or supported by your intelligence and your intelligence is informed or supported by your intuition. P.S. Sorry for the long read, I love talking shop lol
Why is is playing on low difficulty, those pci were the size of Mount Everest ? Genuinely asking. Most of the dominant players rank puts them HOF or legend but maybe this is a starter account and that’s why
Speaking of the mercy rule, I remember one time when I was an ump, it was about the 4th inning, and the away team was winning like 20-5 but the home team still wanted to play because they had faith. I talked to both coaches. Two innings later the gap only widened so the home team coach finally called it off
Being #1 doesn’t really mean the best so ofc he doesn’t just slam everything perfectly. Being #1 does require skill but not the best skill it’s just playing all day and grinding for best players and playing ranked more than anyone else.
He’s #1 not because of his ranked record but due to his success in the biggest tourneys for the game. Those tourneys usually have restrictions in terms of roster construction so it’s not necessarily about him just having the best players compared to everyone else.
thats actually so false my buddy went from a bummmmmmm to a stud ive known a few people like that haha now to be top tier sure but thats everything in life to an extent
This game is terrible. Had 2 twenty pitch outs. 44 pitches in one inning, 0 earned runs... If you face a batter with low averages, they get hits because the game needs them to do better. If a pitcher has a 7.2 era... Best believe he's throwing 7 no hit innings against you.
You call him the number one player in the world. I call him the number one cheater in the world. Everybody's calling this guy out if the actual number 1 person learn to play the proper way. Stop cheating. Cause everybody knows you cheat
Thank you for having me, had a ton of fun!!
Did youre awesome ! Lets do it again soon
Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous halfway through that second game. But I had no doubt as soon as you finally got on base

Im curious. From your end did it feel like you were playing different people?
@@WalkoffGrandslam not a clue lol I played this game like any other online game
@@josephcastro6951 Be honest, how did you feel when he replayed the homers
Giving up 10 runs as a reliever means something went very wrong

I’m so glad I found this channel. I love your Yankees content . MLB the show content is about to be funny and fun
Welcome aboard!
This might be my new favorite channel, havent laughed and enjoyed a video like that in a while.
Saving this as a shopping list for The Show Marketplace, great insights 🔥
Glad it was helpful!
that second game was thrilling, loved it
Surprised to hear that about Dylan Crews. He's the first position player I got P5 and I'm still hitting .323 with him
was thinking the same
Never heard nor seen this kid play b4.. this should be cool
The replays alone would have had me trying to climb thru the screen
This was hilarious. Nice video!
Love the content! Shelfy is a king!
Whats tough about this year is the only thing I was good at was pinpoint pitching. So now I got no upsides lol
I read the title, said in my head “if it ain’t Kriner it’s clickbait”. Well I’ll be damned
Hell yeah! He's a Nats fan, beautiful!
JM should host a show tourney fr fr, I think the Tampa Bay Rays just ran one for $10k but either way, would be hype for the community!
we are building up to this we have a location and everything just have to grow the channel and the views
I don’t even play mlb but this was so fun to watch hahaha
Great stuff boys! Shelfy rules what a stud
HES CRACKED!
The JM version of handing the Controller to the older (younger) brother.
Keep up content like this 🔥🔥
