I love how stylized and zany the whole game looks, it fits mario really well! Plus the way the environment reacts to you like with tall mario and the trees growing with you is awesome!

i like that you can now throw fireballs while crouching. you can also shoot bubbles in bubble form and swing your trunk in elephant form while crouching too
I love the bubble. Reminds me of the little mermaid in NES

I'm playing as red Yoshi I can't use any of them how do I? They just float as a balloon when I hold the A button. Are power ups useless to red Yoshi?
Why is the A button is used for an item? A is for jumping like B and item with minus button.

Honestly I think the powerups are charming however I don't think you will encounter most of them that often because they are situation gimmick based & that sucks dude... I was never plan on buying another 2D mario game anyway but this is cute

Kinda seems lazy like over half seem to be temporary area-based power ups.
I mean, that's kind of the point of them. They're meant to be level exclusive and special. The others like elephant and bubble are your standard regular power ups.
