Why is the recoil so powerful in CoD? It feels like the player is playing as some dystrophic who is unable to control the recoil of the weapon. In CoD, the recoil of the SMG feels like the recoil of an assault rifle in Stalker, and the assault rifle in CoD "kicks" like a shotgun.
@DreamSniperGod greatly depends on the player. I hate cod just for the gameplay and enjoy the management, paranoia and panic in stalker, but you might say the opposite.
1:40 that single shots with AK 74 in bo6 feels like he's shoting with high caliber rifle and its just 5.56... Personally i like more stalker 2 guns. The animations are way smoother. Stalker 2 much better graphics, but stalker 2 has Graphics issues also, especially long distance graphics and textures that are broken. Hope they will this in future updates.
In stalker it sounds and looks like you love and cherish your weapon with passion and care. In СoD, the weapon looks and sounds like you'll be holding it for no more than 8 seconds in the game. Shoot and throw)
As someone who goes to the range a lot and likes to shoot handguns and AKs, STALKER2's sounds really stood out to me as sounding much more realistic than video game guns normally sound, and especially than those COD guns sound. Also any AK sling that jiggles around as much as that COD AK sling does is not going to stay put set up the way they have it set up.
Looking through all this comments, seems like people don't understand what's CoD is aiming for and what Stalker is for. Completely different feel. Both are great in terms of animations, and good enough sound-vice just not same idea. One for action and other for atmosphere.
One thing I see no comments about, in stalker when you reload with remaining bullets you have 1 additional, because this is how weapons work. 1 bullet in a gun and 30 in magazin
In stalker 2, there is a very big oddity with the tactical reloading of weapons, the character completely throws out the magazine on some weapons, although it is logical to keep it, because it is not empty, but on some just keeps it with him. I'm not making this up, because you can look at your feet after recharging and see the discarded magazine on the ground exactly in those cases when the magazine is thrown away
at this point in gaming and technology, they were basically the same. you could nitpick certain things for certain but sound profile and animations were overall excellent for both games. key differences i noticed was CoD guns sound a tad more beefy, probably a bass setting and the animations were faster to fit with CoDs fast paced pvp. but to say either of them were bad in any way is purely bias.
CoD animation looks "cool" just like everything now made for children. Too many missing frames, or too torn movements, to please tik-tok brain. And not it's just horrible. Stalker 2 just smooth and it's looks awesome
I'll mention something that kept looking off to me the entire video until I looked really close into it. The textures for STALKER 2 are much better than the ones from COD but it might be hard to figure out why when both of them show signs of scrapping and other weathering. The important thing is STALKER 2 also included small imperfections called "pitting", tiny crater like shapes that form due to corrosion of metal. These are the tiny black spots you can look in the weapons from STALKER 2, the COD weapons show scraping and different coloring due to oxidation but are otherwise perfectly smooth steel with no imperfections. STALKER 2 also has a lot of parts that look much more granular, fitting for parts that are built through steel/powder casting (very noticeable with the PSO mounts) while other milled and stamped parts have the usual smooth looking finish, COD textures on the other hand all look rather smooth and flat. Another very subtle but significant difference is the color of the scrapes themselves, COD has very bright scrapes while STALKER 2 uses a darker tone. This makes COD's guns look worn out from rough handling but not from weathering, while STALKER's darker scrapes give the impression of a gun that's been used enough to wear out the surface finish but maintained for long enough for the scrapes themselves to darken from slow oxidation into a tone similar to the black oxide finish of the rest of the weapon. Hats off to the team from STALKER 2, they did an incredible job with their models.
when you realoading not empty mag in stalker - cartridge is still inside the bolt. that's pathetic that such games like cod in 2024 still ignore that mystic cartridge dissapear phenomena
Very big difference in sniper rifles. Sound of sniper rifles in Stalker is just incredible (that echo so real), in CoD іt sounds like the neighbor behind the wall is hitting it with a hammer
Weapon models goes to stalker and it’s not even close Weapon sounds is more of a what you prefer cause both games do a lot of things right but to me stalker wins it since it has more oomph for weapons and has that echo you get after each shot in the outside while cod is more toned down cause it’s a competitive shooter with a lot of people near you and you’ll go deaf Animations is kinda of a mixed bag cause if we’re talking about animations quality it’s stalker hands down but even though I think it’s nostalgic and great seeing old school animations here I do wish Skif would do a simple retention reload on half empty mags to show he’s conservating ammo and while bo6 is a step in the right direction for 3arch, every reload is a jittery mess to hide imperfections in animation quality (IW has great animations but they have to tone down the camera shakes)
You people saying cods reloads are too fast have never trained with a firearm. A fast reload is a good thing. Spec ops train on how to reload constantly. It need to become muscle memory something that they never messed up so they learn the techniques that are shown in the modern call of duty games.
Brother, people can train with a firearm without being the quickest reload in the west. Military is one thing, yes, but in this context with CoDs military personnel....it just doesn't make sense. The problem is the fact that they are military personnel but can't control the recoil worth shit but do these flashy reloads, all of which look rubbery as fuck, jittery, and coked up on no no snow. It's inconsistent as fuck. Hell, I have seen someone put 12 rounds down range from a six cylinder revolver in 3 seconds. They did that just fine without all this extra jitter and wobble. That, and I'll be honest, I'm just sick and tired of the overused flashy tactical/tacticool reloads. I just want the simpler reloads that look good and feel satisfying. Stalker is slow paced and tactical CoD is...well...CoD
i remember one animation where the dude slaps his gun whit the mag like a fucking porn, fr thats a highly trained reload L also COD is barely any good these days, so they are going to search any opportunity to hate on it

Stalker is definitely on another level in graphics and in the sound of its weapons, so realistic.
ak-47 in cod when magazine still have bullet they grab that magazine then replace new one but in stalker they just throw it all magazine even in magazine have bullet left
Stalker definitely feels more clunky and honestly I can’t say it’s more realistic, I shoot guns occasionally and even I can reload while jogging or sprinting so the idea that skif can’t is absurd and trivializes combat. Also guns definitely feel better in MW19 which would be the best comparison since they had the best devs working on that and the feeling of the guns in MW19 is definitely better than stalker 2. Also the jamming animation is cool in stalker 2 but after the first few times it just gets stupid that skif feels the need to inspect the whole gun every time it jams, you’re a soldier, you should be able to unjam while aimed down like I’ve done when an AK kept jamming on me at the range. BTW I’m currently at a little over 15 hours in stalker 2 and absolutely loving it the world is incredible and the gun fights are so intense but the gunplay in newer cod games is undeniably preferred by me. They killed it with MW19 everything since has kind of been getting a bit worse since lol
My only nitpick about STALKER is that a lot of the reloads have the character just throwing away the mags, which makes sense in COD but in the zone, where every bullet and magazine counts, idk it jjst doesnt seem as immersive for me
Is nobody going to question the Recoil of the guns?? CoD Feels like the weapons have too much recoil, are too light or the guy holding them doesn't know how to hold them. Meanwhile in Stalker They have Weight, the recoil isn't over the top and Skif has experience with them,he even has his own pistol. Oh and the weapons weight does work where you take time to swap them or take aim.
It's because in COD the weapons are balanced around close range encounters, it has always been an arcade shooter that doesn't really care about realism, if it did shotguns would dominate every encounter below 50 yards as they have remarkably more range than most games would lead you to believe. Because of this everything kicks like a mule and has the hip-fire bloom of a rotary sprinkler.
I think the worst part of COD isnt that they are a cashgrab. I was in the German army, so i know how to handle and operate a gun I also am a pretty big gamer Games like ARMA , Stalker , Insurgency are focusing on smooth reloads , like done and practiced a thousand times. They take time CoD feels off in terms of speed , yes you can do FAST AF reloads, but chance is when you do it with a bullet in the chamber , even with trigger discipline - there is a risk to mess up. Small company vs triple a
Ukrainian game vs American game
GSC clearly put more effort into sound design. The guns sound real.
I love how to guns in stalker 2 feel old but at the same time feel new
A triple a studio can't even make guns look and sound better than a small indie studio. And THATS why I haven't been buying very many triple a games anymore....
COD guy really went "THIS LOW CALIBER SUBSONIC AMMUNITION HAS SOOOO MUCH RECOIL!" when firing the Val.
You really have no idea what you're talking about, 9×39 even tho it's subsonic it's bigger than 7.62×39, this thing pack bigger punch than you're typical rifle
COD with infinite money can't make it sound better and feel better than stalker...
in terms of animation its just kind of their own style as an arcade shooter game
This is Treyarchs cod game and it's more arcade style. IW makes more "realistic" call of duty
call of duty nowadays: 🤡
but stalker always: W
COD was a great franchise back when first three Stalker games were released. Its a shame that its a fan service online orientated sweaty hellhole now
First stalker game came out a little bit before cod4, pretty weird to think about it
Guess which is more popular? Not stalker lmao
Stalker 2 is absolutely better...
Impact better in Stalker
Stalker's sound design is top notch.
Both games are pretty enjoyable for gamers.
Yeah, But black ops 6 is more enjoyable.
@@DreamSniperGodDo not compare American and Ukrainian developers.
@@Wind2000channeloh ok. I didn’t know they live from other place or country.
@DreamSniperGod greatly depends on the player. I hate cod just for the gameplay and enjoy the management, paranoia and panic in stalker, but you might say the opposite.
who tf enjoying bo6(except unemployed bros)
loves stalker`s after shooting echo
1:40 that single shots with AK 74 in bo6 feels like he's shoting with high caliber rifle and its just 5.56...
Personally i like more stalker 2 guns. The animations are way smoother. In BO6 the animations are too fast to be realistic. Its not like i dont like tacticool reloads but its too unrealistic that you will reload a gun like that.
I'm impressed how the animations and weapons sound better on Stalker 2 I don't know if it's just me but Stalker 2 seems to do it better.
Stalkers>cod
i see that cod no longer has soldiers handling weapons
Cod anims are very… airsoft.
I think you forgot APS, USP, but it’s fine.
The animations of stalker are super realistic holy moly
The only thing I think COD did better is not chucking half empty mags, both their animations are solid though, but I prefer stalker 2s aesthetic.
As someone who goes to the range a lot and likes to shoot handguns and AKs, STALKER2's sounds really stood out to me as sounding much more realistic than video game guns normally sound, and especially than those COD guns sound.
Also any AK sling that jiggles around as much as that COD AK sling does is not going to stay put set up the way they have it set up.
the amount of guns that are in mw2 mw3 and bo6 basically cover the entire history of stalker guns lol
Looking through all this comments, seems like people don't understand what's CoD is aiming for and what Stalker is for. Completely different feel. Both are great in terms of animations, and good enough sound-vice just not same idea. One for action and other for atmosphere.
I like CoD Black Ops 6, world game. But the detailization and animation better in STALKER 2.
When it comes to animations, both look good to me. As for the sounds, I prefer Stalker's, they feel more natural I think.
They are only few distinct, but both are good.
I'm not making this up, because you can look at your feet after recharging and see the discarded magazine on the ground exactly in those cases when the magazine is thrown away
at this point in gaming and technology, they were basically the same. you could nitpick certain things for certain but sound profile and animations were overall excellent for both games. key differences i noticed was CoD guns sound a tad more beefy, probably a bass setting and the animations were faster to fit with CoDs fast paced pvp. but to say either of them were bad in any way is purely bias.
stalker animators are on point!
CoD animation looks "cool" just like everything now made for children. Too many missing frames, or too torn movements, to please tik-tok brain. And not it's just horrible.
Stalker 2 just smooth and it's looks awesome
is so nice to have the smooth animations in stalker
В сталкере персонаж обращается с оружием более реалистично и бережно
Weapon models goes to stalker and it’s not even close
Weapon sounds is more of a what you prefer cause both games do a lot of things right but to me stalker wins it since it has more oomph for weapons and has that echo you get after each shot in the outside while cod is more toned down cause it’s a competitive shooter with a lot of people near you and you’ll go deaf
Animations is kinda of a mixed bag cause if we’re talking about animations quality it’s stalker hands down but even though I think it’s nostalgic and great seeing old school animations here I do wish Skif would do a simple retention reload on half empty mags to show he’s conservating ammo and while bo6 is a step in the right direction for 3arch, every reload is a jittery mess to hide imperfections in animation quality (IW has great animations but they have to tone down the camera shakes)
my favorite part is when you slow it down you can see the spoon going in front of the barrel of the gun in cod when you're done ADSing
Stalker is slow paced and tactical
CoD is...well...CoD
i remember one animation where the dude slaps his gun whit the mag like a fucking porn, fr thats a highly trained reload L
also COD is barely any good these days, so they are going to search any opportunity to hate on it
Whats with this recoil on AK in BO6? Shit looks uncontrollable as if in the hands of a child.
Damn shame that both games use fake names for the guns cause of copyright or some gun law bullshit
Viper-5 😂
Well stalker never use Real Weapon name since og trilogy
At least you can mod Stalker 2
@@thekraken1173 Yeah, I was scrolling on Nexus and already saw a mod to have the real names on the weapons in STALKER 2.
Well at least stalker use very similar names, like G36 > GP36, MP5 > Viper 5, Mac 10 > M10, but COD uses super stupid names that have nothing to do with the real gun
The guns in CoD sound like airsoft
the recoil on COD seems way too snappy and jerky
you should not criticize stalker 2, this game is not created by a large company in the conditions of real war. and the other is already a large company with all the amenities that creates war games
Why in slabastan you can't critize anything made in slabastan? I thought this magic place was a bastion of democracy and freedom.
I absolutely despise the trend of guns making that high pitched clinking sound when the magazine is close to being empty
The CoD version of SVU looks as tough the guy held it half a meter from his shoulder, somehow
bro? u completely left out half the weapons
5:52 although he ran out of ammo, there still was rounds in the mag
Damm is it’s just me or Stalker is so much better? I can’t wait until they patch the duck out of haha it’s an amazing game just had some bugs which they fixing very quickly not like other devs
i hate the sound when the ammo is about to empty in black ops.
Same here. It bugs the hell out of me. I don’t need sounds to figure out I am low on ammo if the counter is right there. It’s redundant and unnecessary.
Far cry started that sh!t and some other games copied that unrealistic sh*t for nothing.
I thought csgo did, I remember the update that first added it then other games followed along
@@FlickazSwag csgo/cs2 has that feature and it is one of the feature that i disliked the most. although they used to not having it in their previous game (cs source and cs1.6).
Nothing will beat mw19 and 22 but stalker is really good!
Stalker has realistic sounds in addition to the echo that makes the whole area rumble when you shoot In Street of Duty this does not happen because the sounds are not realistic nor do they leave an echo when shooting. Stalker is definitely on another level in graphics and in the sound of its weapons, so realistic.
The COD AK-74s have WAY too much recoil
C9 looks so cursed but the animations are fast paced I like that igs
ak-47 in cod when magazine still have bullet they grab that magazine then replace new one but in stalker they just throw it all magazine even in magazine have bullet left
Notice that they removed the little soviet star from the Mak
I don't know whats with devs obsession to remove the top half of the front irons from the MP5
My only nitpick about STALKER is that a lot of the reloads have the character just throwing away the mags, which makes sense in COD but in the zone, where every bullet and magazine counts, idk it jjst doesnt seem as immersive for me
I miss sound and gun design from mw2019, we're going back to COD gunplay feeling like ASG match
GSC respect!
Is nobody going to question the Recoil of the guns??
CoD Feels like the weapons have too much recoil, are too light or the guy holding them doesn't know how to hold them.
Meanwhile in Stalker
They have Weight, the recoil isn't over the top and Skif has experience with them,he even has his own pistol.
Stalker 2 - the cartridge remains in the chamber, realistic sound and reloading. COD is kind of “rubbery”...
I think the worst part of COD isnt that they are a cashgrab.
I was in the German army, so i know how to handle and operate a gun
I also am a pretty big gamer
Games like ARMA , Stalker , Insurgency are focusing on smooth reloads , like done and practiced a thousand times.
They take time
CoD feels off in terms of speed , yes you can do FAST AF reloads, but chance is when you do it with a bullet in the chamber , even with trigger discipline - there is a risk to mess up.
Points to Stalker here , along with the jamming feature , thats pretty cool
Not a big fan of stalker 2’s sniper rifle recoil animation. Feels too sluggish. But I prefer stalker 2 on everything else.
Man, I do love the sling on the COD AK-74
You forgot 2 handguns:
UDP Compact/G45 (USP, both with a Match variant)
ASP/Grekhova full auto pistol
😢😢
There's a lot of guns missing in the video. But maybe the other weapons only exist in one of these two so there's nothing to compare.
There are also takes on USP in both games
Only thing thats bugging me is theres still full mag despite having 2 round left in the mag in stalker 2
I hate that they made AK’s charging handle on the correct side this time for stalker 2.
still get the viper 5 tho
