- This is what I call body care chaos! Get on for this crazy ride because today we are going to be decluttering and reorganizing my body care collection! In this video, you will be able to see which scents I've collected over the years while working at Bath & Body Works as a manager. Also, I will be demonstrating my process for decluttering hygiene items as well as showing you how I store and organize my body care.

Once my drawers were like that and not think about it and didn't pressure myself and made present baskets and it did really well for me and my stash worked really well and sticked to it also covid everything that was hygiene was all mostly gone in store I was shopping my stash and never panicked of omg I can't find hygiene products so worked out for me as well I like different smell when washing hands it was so therapeutic as well and yes like I said worked out for me yes I did finish mine shop your stash all sometimes is repackage.
I have a collection about as big as yours. With this video, you convinced me I need to get bins. 😄

I think the bins don't look as pretty (especially the one my cat shredded LOL!) but I've found they really do work the best for storing body care I'm not currently using. Then I use the rolling cart in the bathroom to set up what I'm using for the month. Gets the job done! 🤩

@@flaviapoetic.perfumes4700 Aw man, that makes sense though! I had Jose build mine, and he was able to not add the third shelf that came with it so that it could fit under my sink the way it does! 🤣 It was just barely too tall if it had all three shelves! No problem! 🤗
I think I need to start getting the travel sizes so I don't get tired of a scent halfway through even when rotating. I do wish I had gotten a full size of Key West because I kept just the tiniest amount of spray for a long time so I could have one last spray.

I love this! 🥰 One of my favorites is during the holidays in malls they have Giving Trees and if there are ever kids/teens who request for candles, body care, fragrance, and BBW I always stick them up! 🌲

Hahaha! It smells as good as it sounds! 🍎 They really need to make more of their best home fragrances into body care, there's so many I would love!
Awesome collection and video. Maybe arranging them on the shelves and not in bins may make it easier to organize and keep it neater. I used to keep my Body care in those cube bins too. But it worked out better to have them on the shelves so I could see everything.
I love watching you organize your stuff!! I do the same thing, only my stash is a tiny, tiny fraction of yours, but still, I love pulling things out for gifting...that's one of my favorite things to do. I have a huge collection of lotions and sprays and very little body washes and scrubs.
That happened to me for a while there because my sister was using up her shower gels like crazy but barely using the sprays or moisturizers. So I sometimes would trade my shower gel extras for her lotion and sprays since I use them a lot, but it made me kind of out of balance! I think it has evened out since when I made this video almost everything was in complete sets! 🥳
The bubblegum rose ever though. Yet in the one with the strawberries strawberry soda on it yes

Yay! I was looking foward to this! I got my collection organized last week. I have to be very selective about what else I bring in this year, because my baskets are really full.
Do you check your body creams occasionally? I've heard that they can go bad quickly, especially the newer formula ones. I started keeping mine in the basement where it's cool. I have a few that are a little more yellow, but everything still smells okay and nothing sounds sloshy.
Yay, that's great you were able to get all organized! I'm hoping to use up a lot of opened product and narrow down my stash a little bit also.
I don't really go out of my way to check them, but when I go to use them if I notice a little separation or discoloration, I'll just massage the bottle until the texture is improved and make a mental note to work on using it up faster. Same here, my body care closet is in the basement where it's kept cool and dark. Even when the creams start to become compromised I don't notice any negative side effects when using them...maybe just a bit less fragrant if anything! I know that if they have vanilla or coconut notes in them, they tend to turn yellow (some I've even purchased yellow) and I think that's totally normal for BBW! 😊
Put body creams in fridge- they won’t go bad fast.🍒

It was nice to see Lavender and Spring Apricot and Love and Sunshine. I still have a few of those left as well. Do you remember Rainkissed Leaves? It's also a nostalgic fave for me. Yes, those are some nice Spring scents...as much as I love cozy and gourmand fragrances, seeing them makes me wish it were warming weather outside! 🌞 Yes, I remember it! I have a couple little ity bity sizes from hotels from 2011-2012 of Rainkissed Leaves! I feel like it used to be around for such a long time and then suddenly it never showed it's face again! 🤔🌿 I feel like it would make for a good throwback fragrances for a Summer Semi Annual sale one day! Yes!! I have some hotel minis of Rainkissed Leaves 🍃 too!! In body care as well as shampoo and conditioner! I also have quite a few full sizes left from years ago. I went all out on this one!!

I love your crazy collection! I'm really hoping they bring back the sand scrub as it is my favorite scrub they've ever done. I only got one last year and I was so bummed I didn't grab like 10 of them on sale!
Aw thanks so much! 😊 I really love the texture of the sand and sea salt scrubs, in fact I also preferred them over the sugar scrubs by far at BBW! I just have to give them up for the sake of my lame drains! 🥺🤦🏼♀️ Hahaha! They sometimes bring them back for tropical and summery collections, so here's to hoping they still do once in a while! 🤞😊

It's the only one I've tried but it made me not bother trying others! 😂 Which scent(s) have you tried and what do you think?

I did this! I moved from my parents house in 2018 with 30ish showergels and a ton of lotions, 20 perfumes.. I only realised I had this much while packing.
It took me till now to use everything up. I just bought my first bodycare product in years 😱
Yeah I definitely buy a lot less/obtain less nowadays than I used to since I no longer work there and get all the free company gifts and am there less often to shop. My family and I are working on some use it up projects now too which will help narrow things down, but other than that, the stash will probably remain larger than the average person's just cuz it's what my job is!

New here, love your videos. One question, I saw you were still using some older creams/lotions from like '19, don't they go bad? How long should you safely be keeping those sort of products?
Hi, April! Thanks so much! 😊 General rule of thumb for Bath & Body Works moisturizers is that they are best used within 2-3 years. After that, the quality may become compromised in consistency, fragrance, and coloration. (Vanilla and coconut scents may become yellowish sooner than 2-3 years, which is normal for whatever reason at BBW.) As long as you still enjoy the texture and the fragrance of the moisturizer, then there shouldn't be any issue with continuing to use it even if it's past it's prime. My very oldest creams (from about 2015-2017 time frames) sometimes separate, but I just massage the bottle and it's fine! But if you think it smells or feels icky then 👋🚮

Do you actually use the older stuff or just keep it around to smell? Only reason I ask is because I had to declutter all of my fall 2021 body creams (marshmallow pumpkin latte, pumpkin pecan waffles, etc) because they started having a weird smell to them and when I put it on my skin that weird smell didn't go away. I keep my things in my room where it is cool and they aren't exposed to light often, so I was wondering why this happened.
Probably a bad batch. If something smells off you should throw it out indeed.

It depends, I collect older Bath & Body Works products for nostalgia and have some things from my childhood that I will never use. But pretty much everything you saw in this video is stuff that my family and I will use up. That's too bad on your 2021 products! I have some from that year I'll have to sniff and see how they are doing. They do occasionally modify/edit formulas. Maybe some if their newer ones aren't as long lasting. I use stuff from 2015 that still smells brand new. Like you said, storing in a cool, dark, dry place helps. I keep mine in this basement closet not in the bathroom. The basement never exceeds 65 degrees and is often lower. Also it helps to not open bottles if you aren't going to use them right away, as keeping them sealed will keep them fresher. Sorry that happened!
5 adults use this body care stash, plus I usually end up gifting the more current ones to in laws, extended family, and giving tree at Christmas, postal workers, hair dressers, etc...so it definitely gets used!
Does mango Mandarin smell like tiki bay island margarita aka island margarita?
Hi Courtney! I actually find them quite different! 😊 Tiki Bay/Island Margarita is more tart and juicy like mango and lime. I find the Mango Mandarin to be a bit more subtle and candy-like. It makes me think more of a soft and sweet clementine. Both are really nice! 🥭🍊
Is sugar plum swirl
Similar to the recent iced sugar plum??
I find that they are surprisingly different, I would have thought they would be more similar! The notes for Sugar Plum Swirl are: Juicy Sugar Plum, Sweet Tangerine, Pink Grapefruit, Holly Berry, Caramel Peony, Nectarine Blossom, Fluffy Meringue, and Sugared Musk. This is back when they used to list more notes on the fragrances than they do now. Now they only list 2-4 key notes. Iced Sugar Plum's notes are: Sparkling Sugar Plum, Snowdrop Petals and Whipped Marshmallow. I find that Iced Sugar Plum is much more gourmand, and the marshmallow note gives it that rich, graham cracker crust base. Sugar Plum Swirl is more of a sweet fruity floral. It almost has a slight bitter citrus rind scent to it too, which I assume is a combo of the holly berries and grapefruit notes. I hope this helps! 🥰
