taking into account, that in real life such sections are about 100% steeper and gnarlier as they are on camera, the last section looks lika a true killer one. How the f... is this actually rideable? And how is it possible to make it look that easy? OUT OF THIS WORLD!
I can't understand how people can continue to talk shit about ebikes when you see videos like this, when even world-class riders say it's at least as technical and physical as classic bikes, if not more so... Especially when these keyboard warriors would certainly be unable to keep up with any of these riders, even downhill, ebike or not...
What are you going on about? Literally zero people’s criticism of e-bikes have to do with their downhill riding abilities, as a matter of fact most people praise their downhill ability due to the added weight around the bb. You are either way out of touch with the mtb community or just plain clueless
@@martin5561 Longer rides, more downhill for the same amount of effort for the regular rider... And about the E-EDR racers, you know they're doing more stages, way more elevation gain and total run length, right?
For example, the stats for the race in Leogang: EDR total distance 55km against 74km for ebikes, 6 stages vs 10 stages for ebikes, ascending 1090m against 1800 for ebikes, descending 4800m against 6180 for ebikes. More power = More ride!
The last rider was an absolute animal.
Pretty slow, though…
@@eriks_coasters yeah he could've been a bit faster, needs to practice more
Oh yeah Jesse Malamed the reigning champion rides slow …. 🙄🙄
meh, I could have done better.
Jessie on a heater
It is very cool seeing the different lines riders choose.
Can't imagine riding that with camera gear on my back!

Go on Jono!!
1:35 Did that E-bike jockey loose a spoke right there?
It sounded like it for sure.
1:02 Let's GOOOO Max!!!!!
1:21 Let's go 🙌
Jesse's gap is so impressive
So gnarly this rock section!
Ebikes ??😢
Yeah at the end of this was savage riding through those rocks, I'd hate to be flyin over my bars in that rocky graveyard

E-bikes are so ugly

ebikes as physical as classic bikes? What is the point of an ebike then?

@@MrEtienne6657 Thx for the info - I wasn't aware that there even was an ebike category, to begin with.
