- In this lesson, respected New York City producer and musician Pablo "Chino" Nunez teaches the rhythms of the Cumbia Pa Ti on timbales. The lesson was taken from his full length DVD, The Rhythmic Construction of a Salsa Tune, Volume 2.
In the full lenghth DVD Chino and special guests George Delgado and Jorge Gonzalez move past the basic rhythms of Volume 1 to show the viewer the ins and outs of playing with other musicians. Learn how to start and finish songs; how instrument patterns and various instruments compliment one another; watch how the players interact with each other. Chino teaches five distinct Latin rhythms -- Bomba, Cumbia, Plena, Calballo and Charanga and demonstrates how every instrument part including timbales, congas, bongos, guiro and cowbell is played in each of the five songs.

@dannydjesus3478 pablo nunez ed de padres de Puerto Rico fue bongocero de hector lavoe y ha tocado timbales con los mejores fue el timbalero que grabo el cd de marc anthony otra nota ahi el esta de timbalero pero ha grabado muchas grabaciones de salsa tanto en la conga como bongo y timbal.

Chino is a very good percussionist. I like what he's playing as usual but im a little worry about the explanation. Thought I know what he's talking about it might be hard to understand for someone whos not as knowledgeable. My respects to chino's playing!!!

@memovp simplemente ay que llevar el ritmo en la sangre es el boleto de entrada,o no? porque un musico sin su madera no sirve lo sabemos señor, y estos ritmos y demas, son basicos porque hay muchos maestros como chino que tienen su escuela, y es muy buen negocio si se sabe trabajar claro, pero lo que a ti te falta es humildad mi hermano porque se ve que eres de los que se levanta mas que los demas :P
se deverian desafinar los timables cada vez que se toca,ya los toco de vez en cuando gracias.
