this topic is really cool! dude, one important thing that no one talks about in these videos, and it would be nice if you broached this subject. is to store the data in the ESP32 memory for when the network signal fails, and it has to be in a persistent memory that can withstand a deep sleep or reset. it's a suggestion!
For one of the startup I have built a 4G dongle with telit LE910, it was awesome thou the code was in C++ but python can be used as well as AT commands are there as usual. much IO pins are also there.

I see that for the calling portion you used only voice. Is there a way to send a pre-recorded voice message once the call is picked up by the receiving phone? I'm not necessarily asking how to do it, but more just to know if it's possible.

Great project, thanks for the video but I have a question. I currently use a SIM 800l version 2. The 2G network is being retired and at the end of this month it won't work anymore. I don't want to spend that much money to buy this particular module but what would you suggest I do in order to my projects working currently they all work on text messages and I have a separate GPS module.

do you have any examples of how to connect a serial board to this Manuino Zero 4G LTE? I understand that this board has two serial ports and they are used by the USB and the Modem. What digital port do we use to convert to serial via UART? any guidance woudl be a huge help

This module along with shipping charge from your recommended site costs more than an Android 4G entry level smart phone. And certainly I can do hell of things beyond just calling and sending sms with the phone. It's not worth just making videos on new IoT boards which are really not cost-effective and thus of no use!!!

I haven’t bought it, rather MakerFabs sent me this for testing purpose. But if you calculate the price it will come around Rs. 5,500 to Rs. 6,000 including shipping

@@techiesms I think 4g lte might still be around because to many phones requires it. And I read somewhere that 5G will have compatible backwards with 4G Lte in it. So we might be safe for now.

I am using SIM800C ,i want to uograde to 4g module. I want to transmit voice as per DTMF tone, we can store any AMR file in the SIM800C by using ARM file download software, similarly which software is used for SIM7600 model to feel the AMR files
