If Boise State somehow beats Oregon on the road they are going undefeated in 2024 in my opinion.
I agree. I wouldn't say it's impossible. Like I said, Boise St has never lost to Oregon, and Boise St may be very motivated going into this game. But on the other hand, I think this Oregon team will have one of their best teams in a long time. This could be a fantastic game.

@@TotallyTmanCFB Really the only way I see Oregon losing is if they just completely fall asleep and look ahead to playing Ohio State.
Yes BSU is undefeated against them, and yes BSU in fact has beaten Oregon in Autzen in the past (an Oregon team that finished Top 10 in fact). However, the only times Boise State really beat a good Oregon team, where when Boise State had an insanely underrated and stacked team.

I think if Boise can keep the Oregon game lower scoring they have a chance if it’s a shoot out I think Oregon will end up pulling away and winning by 2+ scores

Cool video. Tbh I think it’s generous. This program is very hard to predict these days. The season opener to me is actually a potential wildcard loss. Won’t be an easy game. I definitely think Boise loses to Oregon and at least one of the WSU/OSU games. Best case record is 10-2. I’d say 9-3 more realistic. We have the same terrible secondary coming back so other teams are gonna drop bombs on us. Go Broncos
I could be wrong about 11-1. You have a pretty decent schedule. Georgia Southern is also not a guaranteed win.

Boise State loses to Georgia Southern and lose to Oregon and lose at home to San Diego State and lose at home to WazzU, and lose at Wyoming. Boise State goes 7-5 and once again the Mountain Worst talk too much and overrated while AAC and SBC are better and stronger and undervalued.

@@TotallyTmanCFBkeys are Boise State went 8-6. The entire MWC did not have a single team with 10 wins and everyone had at least 4 or more losses. The SBC had 12 bowl teams. The AAC had only half their league bowl eligible but four teams did finish with 10 wins. Plus in bowl season the only two G5 conferences to finish with a .500 record or better were the AAC and interesting enough CUSA for all kinds of craziness.
You are Bozo Boise State and Mountain Worst Homers. Nothing wrong with that. But with future financial changes to happen, as well as what currently exists within the MWC to bring back to the pack the top 3 teams with everyone else, Boise State no longer has true distinct advantages like they did in the Big West days, WAC days, and early MWC days. Those are facts dude. Boise State will go 8-4 or 9-3 at best.
The game against Georgia Southern is at Statesborro Georgia not in Boise. Had that game been in Boise I would think they could cheat and win. But Sun Belt is vastly better than MWC by a million miles easily. Head to head don’t lie and unlike the MWC, the SBC got road wins against bowl bound P5/P4 teams not teams that had deplorable results from the Autonomy Colleges. Wyoming winning at home over Texas Tech is not the same as going on the road and winning at Oklahoma State. Going on the road and beating bad P4 teams the MWC and others can do and have done that. Also who has made the most NY6 bowls? The AAC. Is the AAC weaker than in years past? Yes. Is the door open for one of the other Non-Autonomous Conferences to take over both regular season and postseason as best G5/6/7 whatever it becomes in the future from the AAC? Yes, but if they are getting it right and the brass that complained at the added schools to the AAC and current Conference members build on the postseason successes, then the AAC will still be the best out of the bunch not in P4.
Had the Boise State game against Georgia Southern been against Georgia State at GSt in Atlanta, given the late coaching change, I would favor Boise. But it’s against the better SBC Georgia school with a head coach out for revenge on many levels and will utilize whatever games will showcase how SoCal was stupid dumping him for No-D Lincoln.
In fact if I am the AAC, MWC, SBC, MAC, CUSA, and if the WAC comes back; I schedule every single former PAC school over the next 4-6 years and ACC schools over the next 4 years until they get settled in to chip off a few successful programs to be added to the notch. Because once they settle in their new P4 conferences and dust settles in ACC they are going to get back to being difficult to compete with and beat.
